Hi, I purchased LockOn, updated to 1.01, 1.02, then purchased 1.1 but I've not commited time to learn the sim yet.. I usually take the learning aspect very seriously and I plan to begin next week. However, there is something I would like to address first. Instead of doing every single tweak and spent a month changing things I will like to do the top three performance tweaks to improve frame rates. If I recall correctly from the Ubi forums water textures and the canopy scratches were performance killers.. is this still the case? I have 2Gb memory, 6800 Ultra and FX-53 Athlon.. I get around 35-40 FPS on the quick start missions, but once I get into a highly populated area that will drop dramatically. So I want to optimize in advance some of the settings. What would you recommend as the top three performance optimizing tweaks for LockOn? the ones with the more impact improving Frame rates. Thanks,

Hi, Playing the quick start missions I noticed that none of the external views work now. They used to work in 1.02, after the 1.1 upgrade only F1 Cockpit view and F11 Theather view work now. Did I disabled them somehow?? Yes, I already checked keyboard mapping and even tried assigning keys to Joystick to no avail... this is very weird.

Not silly at all, it's very similar but is definitely stuttering and not shaking. Could my 2Gb of memory play a role here? having too much memory affects peformance? I saw it in the Ubi forums long time ago.. maybe is bs... I do know that loman pre loaded textures and things like that taking advantage of aditional memory.. But, I do not use loman in FC, So I was wondering if there is some kind of tutorial explaining the settings in the cfg files affecting the game.

Everthing is set to High except Water detail, which is set Low I think.

Hi all, Whenever I turn or pitch the aircraft I feel sttutering as if my PC is struggling to run Lomac. I have an FX-53 and a NVIDIA 6800 Ultra, both CPU and GPU are overclocked. I've excelent performance in all games I try, it seems my PC only has problems trying to run LOMAC. I was able to reduce the sttutering a little bit by enabling the MaxFPS option in graphicsd.cfg in the config folder to 30. Also water effects are set to low. I'm not using loman, but I remember there was an option to preload terrain that enhanced the performance greatly. I have 2Gb of memory, what can I tweak to take advantage of the memory I have available? Thanks,
