Don't have time to look at the tack right now, but what mods does the problem player have installed. This isn't widely reported which suggests it's a specific user issue. The SuperHornet mods have been causing assorted issues lately. Also have them try doing a repair of their DCS. Is that track from you or is it a track from the user with the issue? If it's yours it's not going to show much of use.

Something got changed in a file somewhere (DCS or even in Windows). Some part in your computer finally started failing or failed just enough that it can't keep up any longer. Who knows. Regardless, with that many mods (or really with any), the most prudent 1st step in troubleshooting is remove them all and do a repair on your DCS. It's really not worth spending a lot of time troubleshooting until you do that.

Wow, you've got a lot of mods installed and it appears you're getting bunch of errors on them. I'd start with removing them, if only reduce the clutter in the log.

To put that into perspective: assuming they would only need to sell 1,000 to make it worthwhile (no idea what the number is, but I'm guessing that's a lowball number) and assuming people wanting one that post here only represent 10% of the people that might buy it if it was available (probably overestimates), that means you'd need at least 100 individual people to ask for it on here. Chances of that happening are pretty slim. It would be nice if it came back, but if it went because it wasn't selling well the chances are very, very low.

An F/A-18C Lot 20 Cockpit that Looks and Feels... Right (56° FoV)

I don't have a problem if someone wants to post an unpopular opinion. I DO have a problem if it's OK for them to delete a thread that has opposing opinions and immediately repost their original post without any of previous opposing opinions. If you want to remove it totally, fine. Delete and immediate repost I disagree with. -
Honestly, from your description in the post, it's all working as expected when you have that button assigned as a SWITCH. In the binding menus it won't hold the switch on so you don't lose your mind trying to assign it so it's only working when you have it pressed. In your case 2, you're pressing the modifier switch which is turning it ON. It's staying on when you release the modifier button so it's still acting as Sensor Control Switch. You're never pressing the modifier button again so it's staying in the ON state (whereas in the next one you do press it again which is turning it OFF). In your case 3, you're press the modifier switch which is turn it ON. As in Case 2, when you RELEASE the button that doesn't change it's state because it's a switch and therefore it is staying ON. So yes, it's responding as if the modifier is on because it is. Then in your 3rd line of that one pressing the modifier button which is turning the switch OFF, so it's acting as unmodified trimmer switch. If you bind JoyBtn2 as a MODIFIER (add it with the LEFT ADD button) it will act like you're expecting it to. Make sure you remove it from the SWITCH column

Why would it? Can you see outside of your aircraft with the canopy closed using NVG's? So why wouldn't you be able to see in? retracted -- not enough coffee consumed when I wrote this

For point 1: if you go to your profile on the forum, you can delete previous uploads which may get you enough space to upload a track file (you have a limited uploads storage) in future For point 2: it actually makes sense that you can change the codes in the UFC "even though it does nothing". It let's you change them so if you were say buddy lasing, you don't get the "CODE" error on your HUD (seen in one of the pics above) from having a mismatch between your targeting pod and the bomb's you have on. Or it would allow you to correct (for the same reason) if your bomb codes got changed and didn't automatically update in the plane. Originally you could change the codes in plane and that effected the bomb. That was incorrect to IRL as you would need to physically change the code on the bomb with, for example, a screwdriver, which you obviously couldn't do IRL flying through the air. It got updated in game. And the current behaviour of being able to change it in the stores page is apparently correct to IRL too.

You don't have to "make" a trackfile, just SAVE it from the debrief window when you end the mission (it's an option along the bottom). Best to keep it as short as possible and ideally for the devs if it's on the Caucuses map. A track would be very helpful as this feels like user error more than a bug. You should need to press once for each release in PP mode (not hold) assuming you are dropping them on different targets.

OK, language barrier misunderstanding then . I read it as you were asking ED to look at it.
-
You'll have to take that up with the maker of the JHMCS II *MOD* . Since it is created by someone other than ED, ED will not specifically change anything to support it or figure out why it isn't working.
-
You might like it, but I'll guarantee that ED considers that proprietary business information that they're never going to share publicly.

This is F-16 but likely relevant to the F-18 too. Generally it appears that helmet is much new than the F-18 modelled in DCS.

Radar burn through ECM target range changed to 10NM?
rob10 replied to Nike_Blue's topic in Bugs and Problems
If you want a game with balance, try something other than DCS. DCS aims for as close to IRL behaviour as possible. That means you're never going to have "balance" and there is no way to try to achieve it without deliberately improving or nerfing things away from IRL (yes, I get it, not everything is perfectly true to RL currently, but they aim for as close as possible). I'm really hopeful that either this change was a mistake or other modules are update quickly to match it because it seems weird that F-16 and F-18 would be that different.
