I would assume DCS will carry forth the ability to use differnt seasonal settings as in FC, and will you still be using the pop up scenery for structures?

Matt is correct! Most of the materials needed to complete the FA-18 project is classified and not available. Materials pertaining to the radar systems , MFD functions, and weapon systems dynamics is not available for public consumption. The exported version of the FA-18 is vastly differnt and down graded from the version the US Navy and Marine Corps flies. If you find some of this material on the net I would be highly suspicious of it. Unfortunately for now the FA-18C-F models may not be available to fully integrate in to a sim. You might want to listen to Wags...he knows of what he speaks in this matter!

Rgr..thanks for the response. Well guess I will start from a clean install for both LOMAC and FC. Cant hurt.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled 1.1FC. Still same problem. I replaced the missioneditor.dll with a new one and the MEditor.cfg. It is wierd. Everything in the mission is where it should be except for Multiplayer aircraft.

Yes everything is how it should be. Checked and rechecked. The funny thing is that the Client aircraft do not show up in the aircraft list. I have removed all that appear in the list then when I go in to the game there are aircraft showing available.

I have built several multiplayer missions over the last year that have worked with out a problem. Now I am seeing a problem with all the missions I am building. Everything looks fine at the startup for a multiplayer mission. I select the aircraft, load ordinance select the fly button as always but instead of entering the aircraft I end up with external views of the AI's. When I hit the RCVR button it shows text of my aircraft crashing several times. All my old missions work fine. Any suggestion other than a reinstall?

That would be correct Matt. All the manuals he has located at the moment do not meet the export status. He is still looking for somthing that would meet protocol. Will keep you posted.

As I stated he knows the aircraft and all its systems and capabilities from top to bottom. Hopefully ED will consider it. Dont get me wrong I love the F-16 and have over 1000 hours in Falcon but the F-18 is much more deminsional and would be perfect for this game.

After reading the forums it would seem that no movement is being made to pursue an FA-18 flyable addon for Lock On FC. From what I have read ED does not have enough info to begin such a project. I for one would love to see this addition. Giving the balance of using naval operations and the use of a sophisticated Air to Ground capability makes me sweat with the thought of the possibilities. After discussing the issue with a flying buddy of mine he is willing to help by providing all the information you would need (with some restrictions). He knows the F-18 inside and out and would help you any way he could. Silverfox
