  1. Jetseat is fantastic Ordered mine and received it about two and one half weeks later in the US. The seat is fantastic and made my office chair more comfortable as a plus. The effects with SSA work right out the box and now I’m stuck with another no way I’m flying without it item along with the VR headset. This completes the immersion and depletes my wallet but well worth it. For the skeptics I thought this might be some kind of buzzy gimmick since the motors were so small, had to find out, but it’s far from that and implements the vibrations and effects perfectly for the SU-25T for me at least. Not sure how everyone else may feel but I’m hooked! If you’re on the fence, get it! Andre answered all my questions almost immediately and the seat was delivered and promised. Great seat, great support. Thanks Andre, another satisfied customer.
  2. Hello, looking for some help I just received my Jetseat recently and it has been a great experience so far. The issue I’m having is that in the software I can’t find the panel I see in the forum with adjustments for parameters for the software. My jetseat feels great and the effects of simshaker (SSA) are fantastic. The question is can I change the intensity of the effects if I want to? I went into the Jetseat control panel and set the USB to manual assuming that it gives control to the intensity knob, not quite sure what the Mode and Motors buttons do but I have Mode selected. When I adjust the dial the intensity of the effects don't change at all. Is that just for Massage app or should it work in game? (I’m flying the Su-25T) or are the effects preset and can’t be adjusted. The effects still occur with the dial in the full off position. When Simshaker loads it just sends a popup that says” Hello Pilot I’m here to assist I’ll start simshaker when you start a mission” or something to that affect. I looked in the simshaker folder but there are no adjustment type items there. I can click on the simshaker icon and get to the UWV editor but I don’t understand those adjustments are for. Version is 1.1. looking for info of how this should work or point me to a guide for using the software if any available. Thanks for any help or tips. :helpsmilie:
  3. Problem resolved, it does work with using only space bar. My trigger is bound to the fire command for weapons and works fine for everything except this. I can achieve what the video is showing using the space bar. Don't know why trigger won't work, need to try it in regular mode and not the training scenario. I'll figure it out from here. Thanks to everyone for the help this is a great community. I've looked at DCS for a few years but never had the PC power, now that I do I have to say of all the flight sims I have from past to current this is the best! I think I spend way too much time in it. I have the Oculus rift and VR is fantastic! However I do still fly with a monitor and TrackIR occasionally. Just site seeing in the game is enough to squeeze in some time everyday just flying and "chillin", great therapy, permanently hooked! Thanks to all!
  4. Will go through settings, stick is SunCom Talon and SFS with the FUSBA USB conversion been working like a charm for all my flight sims. Maybe something with bounding I hope, will take a look will take a look and report back. Thanks
  5. CCRP Thanks for the help, still same results. When I continue to fly with trigger depressed after acquiring target the flashing diamond pipper just continues past the target. I never get the solid diamond that locks on the target like in the videos for CCRP. I end up diving on the target to keep the target pipper in place just like a CCIP bomb run. Should I get a solid little diamond on the target when it locks? I shouldn't have to use the TV or laser, correct? Thanks
  6. Hello all, new to DCS being flying and training on Su-25T for about 2 weeks. I’m able to make it through the tutorials and basic missions. My problem to date is the CCRP bombing mode, the diamond pipper will never lock on target, only flash. I’m fine at CCIP bombing with unguided bombs etc. I tried the training tutorial and followed it exactly and the diamond pipper never locks on the target it just flashes quickly with the circle pipper around it. Each run I end up getting so close to the target I end up with what is practically a CCIP run having to dive at the target to keep the pipper on it which results which results in a weapons release and a dive pull out. I’ve tried cluster type and regular bombs approaching the target from different heights from 1000 to 3000M in almost level flight and the diamond pipper will not lock on the target. I do acquire the target and keep the trigger depressed the whole time with no diamond pipper lock as I’ve seen in the videos. Parameters of height, speed, weapon are being met. What might I be doing wrong? Thanks for the help
  7. Hello Linden, Sorry to hear such bad news for a great idea. Is it anyway anyone can take over your project? I would be interested if possible. Not sure what would be involved but you would always get credit for it. Thanks
  8. Panel completed Finally got the panel completed. The breakout board worked out beautifully. I used CAT 5 cables to do the wiring and was able to do 4 switches per cable for the most part. The most tedious thing was wiring the connectors but once it's done it's really great. Moving wires on the board is just plug and play. Haven't done any assigning yet but all looks well. I also mounted the X-keys and breakout on a board for convenience. Here's some photos.
  9. Board received CAT I received my board today and all I can say is awesome. The board looks as if it was assembled by a factory process. The workmanship is flawless, the connectors are fantastic. The connector pins for the switch wires are great, this makes attaching them to the board connectors very easy. The cable craftsmanship is fantastic, Looking at the board I don't know how you could do this, those diodes have to be a killer. Great job man! To all those who are worried about quality, you can stop worrying, it's excellent. I have to say it's a bargain for what he's charging for these boards and cables. Thanks again, Great Job CAT! Disclaimer: Iam in no way employed by or represent CAT 101st or have received any payment for this endorsement. I'm just amazed at his skill. :clap_2:
  10. This looks great, might need one in the future. If I hadn't stumbled on some previous posts I never would of found this thread. I think Controllers or Hardware is where it should be. I rarely look here I think a lot of people are not aware of this great controller. Although it's for sale it's but it's a current on-going topic as well. Just my thoughts, thanks.
  11. Use for matrix board Just thought I'd post photos of what I'm planning on doing with the board. I've never built a panel before so this is my first attempt. It's generic and will work on a multi-use pit I have. This is really cheap. I made the panel drawings in Microsoft word, printed them and sealed them with several coats of polyurethane paint. They were then attached with double sided tape to hardboard which I may have to redo, double sided tape not such a good idea. the whole thing cost less than $60.00. Most of the switches were bought in bulk from ebay, very cheap not military grade just plain single throw, double throw, spring loaded etc. Not quite sure what all the functions will be but with 128 inputs why not. The key starter switches work as well, I got the idea from the SimKits key switches. The three radio knobs haven't been mounted yet. Since the X-Keys can't use a real encoder for radio frequency changes I'm using this idea http://www.jimspage.co.nz/inputs.htm It's not A-10 quality but have to start somewhere. Should be a lot of fun wiring these up. Would like to see what everyone else is planning.
  12. Payment sent, Thanks
  13. CAT I'll go first class no problem
  14. CAT, How do you maintain your sanity building these boards?
  15. pm'd you with info although my CP shows no pms sent so my zip is 80207 Want to buy finished board and cable. Thanks
  16. Good news Glad to hear that. However if you are short of funds I don't mind paying a 30 per cent or so advance. Don't know how others would feel but it is a group request you shouldn't have to go out of pocket for the full amount. If you do determine you need more up front l think an advance is the way to go. Thanks for your dedication. :)
  17. Just checking How is the board progress proceeding? can't wait , very excited
  18. Great news Sounds fantastic, can't wait to get mine, great job man.
  19. Great news I don't think you'll have a problem getting rid of the extra boards. Got an ETA? Thanks for doing this.
  20. Don't mind at all I can wait. I've looked at doing the wiring on breadboard or stripboard. 128 connections is mind boggling can't get my head around the layout even. It would seem like you could advertise these as some sort of universal breakout board and approach XKeys or Leo Bodnar or other emulator companies as a partner and supplier of breakout boards. Just a thought but I know it would be more complicated than that. Well, anyway I'll be waiting finger's crossed.
  21. Still ordering boards? I'm interested if it'll help the count towards 10.
