  1. Possible? Irritating as all hell..
  2. Sweet.. look forward to checking this out. Thanks for the info!
  3. I do have one but I haven't tried it out in the game yet. Does it create much motion sickness? I'm pretty resilient to it but EVE: Valkyrie made me sweat. I'll probably go up in a simple craft tomorrow and check it out.
  4. Daze.. sounds about right for me.. I've joined your Discord Channel.
  5. Thanks for that info Sierra. I know the game has moved on and evolved since I've been gone but wasn't sure in what way. I'll take a look at those things you pointed out..
  6. 5 years ago I did cold starts and knew everything. A divorce later and no time to get into the sim.. I'm back and starting at ground zero (The OMG remark in my subject). I was hoping some brain memory would pop back all my knowledge but.. no. Oh wells.. enjoying being back in the seat. Also.. got my Warthog HOTAS on Monday.. wow. Any regret I had spending the extra cash flew out the window when I hooked it up. Any recruiting (what do you call it in this sim? clans/airwings/fighter groups) recruiting?
  7. I stepped up and will get the crosswinds.. but those slaw pedals look sexy. I’m going to do some research.. I might lean toward the Slaw. Let’s say I’ve narrowed it down to two options :D
  8. Thanks all. Im going with the TFRP while waiting for the crosswinds. Also, thanks for the wheelstand info!
  9. Besides the crosswords :D. If pedals prove to be as outstanding as I've read I'll order these down the road.. from what I read i should just get on the waiting list now. I'm looking at this: Thrustmaster T.Flight Rudder Pedals Basically in the $100 to $200 range
  10. Ordered the Warthog, yay. Need to now order pedals. Any suggestions? I don't know how important quality is as they seem to be fairly simple input for a singular action. I'm probably wrong. Any knowledge that you can share is greatly appreciated!
  11. Any recommendations on pedals?
  12. Thanks Greyman. Although the column didnt say “x45” it did have a column named “599 (bunch of mumbers). but! I pulled rhe trigger again and purchased a Warthog. I quit playing due to all sorts of things that are sorted out and i have all the time in the world, or snough. Figured i might as well get back in properly. :D
  13. Sigh.. guess I'll go buy an X52..
  14. My X45 isn't showing on the list in controls menu as well.
  15. Am I supposed to drop this in a folder or load the profile from any location? I went to setting then controls tab but I am unable to get the load profile option to give me the ability to load the profile.. any help appreciated..
  16. solved..
  17. Ah, thanks!
  18. I can only see about 4 or 5 active threads in this forum. Is there a setting I have wrong or are posts limited because it's only in beta?
  19. Very nice... :D
  20. Got it...thanks. This DC World is pretty awesome..
  21. Er..sorry...I have to ask one more question. Is the prerequisite software Lock On: Modern Air Combat still required or has that become redundant with DCS World?
  22. Oh..wow. Cool..thanks for the info. Good stuff!
  23. What I meant was the module size of 218 MB is similiar to the A10-C module size of 332 MB. Does that mean I can delete my Steam version of A10-C as long as I have DC world installed?
  24. To clarify, the 218 mb patch which is the module that ties in to DC World is all that is needed? My A10-C folder is over 7 gigs but had a similiar sized module file. I have the prerequisite FC: Modern Combat installed and with the module its less that 1.5 gigs. I was thinking there'd be a bigger file..
  25. I'm sure it's right under my nose but I cannot find where to download the FC 3 beta. The email that detailed my purchased had a download link but lead to a page that didn't have any DL links. I'm downloading a 218 mb patch that for DC World.. but that's all I can find. Where is this located?
