I will do that in a second. I loaded up an instant mission and I was able to shoot rockets just fine. But I guess I don't need to do the tutorial because I learned how to do it anyways.
Im on 1.1.1.1
I even tried downloading the older version of the mission here and I get the same thing. I don't know if I am doing something wrong but he does not talk to me after he tells me to press OSB-8 and 18. And I cannot shoot any rockets or the gun at all.
I am at the part at 4:00 in this video
and when I do that nothing else happens. Did everything right up to that point. Also, even though I am not supposed to use the gun, when I do nothing happens and the plane just pitches down.
The COST!
I figured I would get:
Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog Which is $400
TrackIR 5 with the Clip which is $150
CH Pedals which are $122
Cougar MFD's which are $60
and the game which is $20
That means $750 for the whole package. I don't even know if I will like it. If I will play it. Is it worth it?
This is a question for those of you that think you have most of the systems mastered. This includes things like start-up procedure and usage of ordnance.
I am just starting to get into Flight Sims mostly because of this game and I want to get a good joystick.
1) Is the Warthog worth it?
2) Will it work well with other games like FSX or IL2 (this factors into the worth)?
3) Does it have force feedback or is that not really needed at all?
