@SV_huMMer, just taking the temperature for now :) will add logitech support later For now I'm trying to make the sims work but loading takes a lot of time and when DC10 or BS2 are launched the mouse doesn't click well and when I have a change to exit the breifing screen I can only switch view with function keys and the plane is still in the air, no way to do something, not flying away just still in the sky... If I press escape it is near to impossible to click on a button to exit :( Any clue? My conf, alienware 11x core i5, 8gb, nvidia 540M

I don't know about Lo* but if they only send huge images, indeed it will be a real waste of bandwidth. Anyway I'll make it work with the FIP screen whatever the image size hoping that reducing the image will not alter the quality to much. Actually, A10 doesn't start on my old devel laptop. i have to install Vs2010'on my new computer in order to test Lo* implementation and interaction with LUA. If this work, I should able able to make it work for Falcon 4.0 too.

I'm also planing to add Logitech G13 and G15 support, anyone with these devices? Don't want to spent too much money for nothing :)

Interesting, will check all that and see how to modify SetImage so that we can dump instruments directly to it, thanks algerad3
-
Hi there, I'm doing some tests to add new functionalities to the DLL but I need some info from you guys. I know it is possible to export some instruments to another screen but I don't know how. Anyone knows how to do this in BS or Warthog? Thx
-
Perhaps I have to add some drawing function to the DLL (or to another DLL) so that we can get rid of GD Will see
-
The sample provided with the DLL give you the way to show bitmap on the FIP screen with GD. Is that what you need?

I was able to install both BS2 upgrade and A10 but I have no sound and the mouse click really doesn't work very well. Anyway I rhink I'll try soon to make a real gauge for FIP. -

I didn't want to waste too much time on it, so I search the Internet for a good looking gauge and used it for the example. -

Not sure what you mean. But the example is just to show how to use the Lua GD library to draw on FIP screen with the saitek module. -

Hi algerad3, Just tested the 64-bit version of the DLL with the LUA 64-bit version and I was able to display an image on it without problem. THis error usually means (when the DLL is know to work:)) that you are trying to use a 64-bit version in a 32-bit instance. Perhaps there is a conflict between your LUA installs and when executed in BS2 it takes the 32-bit LUA DLL? Did you try to remove all the LUA instances and execute again? then add the 64-bit only? What version of LUA are you using? What version of LUA is used with BS1, BS2 and A10? I only how BS1 so I currently cannot test further. -

Ok, do not hesitate to send me a step by step process to test with BS so that I can debug -

Algerad3 I just sent you the x64 vrsion of the saitek.dll for Lua. If it doesn't work, I can try to compile with a more recent Lua library but it will take some time because it seems to have important changes from 5.1.4 to 5.2.1 -

OK SV_huMMer, thank you for checking. Indeed, I don't find anything related to flight panel. Let's focus on FIP and X52 for now. -

@algerad3, sure. In the meantime, can anyone point me to the DCS LUA documentation? :) @SV_huMMer can you look at your Saitek installation folder and see if there is a SDK folder of any kind? -

SV_huMMer thank for your enthusiasm :) About other panels, I don't know if Saitek provides APIs to cntrol them directly. Perhaps I'll heck it later when we have confirmation that FIPs can be controlled properly with my module. -

Nice to hear some news about that :) algerad3, let me know how I can help. Where is the doc for DCS LUA? SV_huMMer, I think algerad3 may send you some stuff to test if he finally deal with the DCS APIs. -

Well, I developed this module for LUA thinking that DCS was also exposing API to deal with it. I haven't tried since as noone looked interested in it. Do you have some knowledge about DCS LUA API? Perhaps I can go back to my LUA module if someone can help testing in DCS BS.
