AH HA...OK! I was going into "mission editor" not "mission planner" I did get it to work. Thanks for the help! I am positive this won't be the last time.

Is there updates to DCS: A-10C? Am I looking at a different version of DCS: A-10C? How do I find out what I am looking at? I tried what you said in reply but I do not see such a thing

Do I need to create a whole new mission in "Mission Editor"? I just want to do "Ramp Start" simple mission and fly around and/or practice landings.

I am getting back into A-10C after I got my TrackIr and in my latest experiences I came across different skins/liveries. How do I change the skin/livery once I am in DCS: A-10C? THANKS

I have been having an issue with rearming. I (and many others, I would hope) would like to see what each of the loadout options are when rearming. Am I just expected to know what each of the loadouts are or is there a chart somewhere telling me what each one has? Is there something out there already or do I need to make my own? THX

ok...good...thx. I can quit trying it and thinking about it.

I haven't been playing A-10C very long but I have come across an annoying issue. When I do a mission that requires a takeoff (from startup) and I have a wingman. What do I need to do to get him to line up for a two-ship takeoff? I know that in Falcon you need to taxi up to a certain point before your wingman gets in line for takeoff. Is it the same with DCS: A-10C?

:helpsmilie:I think the biggest thing frustrating me:huh: with A-10C right now is not being able to visually locate a target. I am working on learning the CDU and seeing how that can help me. When I visually try to find a target I just hope that it moves so I can locate it. Is it ALWAYS that hard or is there a graphics setting that would make it easier? I know about the "label" thing and I have had it on before but it just seamed to get in the way. :helpsmilie:Also, now that I am thinking about it...how critical is it to designate/identify yourself (your aircraft)? I can't think of the words to explain it...forgive me.:huh::huh::huh::huh::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie::helpsmilie:

First off I just want to say that I feel like such a newbie all the time when I read any forum posts. Most of what anyone posts is so FAR over my head. :( Second, I hope that I am not the only one that gets frustrated with A-10C some of the time :pilotfly:(I know it is just a game). Third, I have been brave enough to start a mission or two other than a "training" sortie. I always start in the air or on the runway. I started with a ramp start-up once. I don't know how I made that happen, if I can control that. I like to begin ANY mission from the ramp and a "dark" cockpit. Is there a way to have that happen everytime? Is it a "difficulty" setting? Do I have it set too easy? :helpsmilie: THX

:helpsmilie:I know that there is a lot of information in the 9 line that the JTAC gives you but what are all of the 9 lines? I remember seeing a 9 line worksheet that can be filled out. I am going to go look for that again. After reading most of the threads by other people I realize that I have a VERY LONG WAY to go:(. Is there a tutorial for all the 9 lines of info.? Does someone have one? I am going to search the internet now to see what I can find. THX EDIT: Found that worksheet. Gonna work with that for a while. Keep any input coming tho. EDIT (2): AHH...found a couple guides for the 9-line...finally. I am pretty sure I will have questions later.

yes...I see that and now have tried that MANY times. AAR practice mission is zipped when it is downloaded. After I download it zipped I extract them all to the folder that you described but they are not .miz files so they are not recognized. I hope that it is a "brain fart" on my part. THX

I want to practice flying with NVG. I also want to see what it is like. Is it possible to change the time in a "Free Flight..." mission?
-
I am sick of looking in the forms for what I am looking for so I just created my own thread. I downloaded an AAR practice mission (I think it is a mission). How do I get that into DCS: A-10C "mission" menu so I can fly it?

WARNING: There will be A LOT more questions! Sorry! I am going to ask these while I have the issue and am thinking about them. When I want to copy these onto DVD-R's do I copy what I am downloading now? Also, will each of these fit on a CD or do I need to ZIP them? That will be more questions (ZIPing them)

What is torrent and why isn't that the only choice? I am VERY new to all this...can you tell? These downloads are taking QUITE a while. Can I do these downloads in a couple sittings or do I need to keep the computer on and the downloads going? This is quite an investment for me not sure if this will even work for me. It is a bit of a gamble.

It seems to be working now. setup-1.bin says 38 min. + yet.
-
Hmmmm...FTP seams to be working this time. A-10C better be worth all of this.
-
Yes...do I have to click on them individually? How do I download each one? WHOA...that may be a dumb question.
-
If I close the DCS: A-10C download page can I get back to it? I.E. if I shut down the computer.
-
OH MY. OK I got past that issue. I may wish I didn't. I got to the download page. I clicked on setup.exe, USA, HTTP...NOTHING. I am going to look at it more now but what am I doing wrong or what should I be doing? Just tried it again and it gives me "404 File not Found"

:helpsmilie:I am trying to buy A-10C but it will not let me check out. Am I missing something? I am logged in. NOW WHAT? I can purchase it on my phone but not computer. On my home PC I never get the "Proceed" button. I try to login with the correct username and password but I cannot log in now. After I enter everything and press "Log In" button the screen flashes and goes back to where I need to log in. Was looking forward to this but I am quick getting to the point where I am going to wait until it comes out in the box at retail stores. I says that I am logged in when I go to any other part of the website.

Ok..thx. Yes, not for the manuals necessarily. I have all of those downloaded onto my computer already. Thx
-
I would rather have a hard copy. Where can I get one? I have looked and looked...nothing. THX

I believe and understand that! THX
