Really? I couldn't get Lock On Flaming Cliff to load. Too bad, because I really liked that game. But... I guess that's a good thing, because that problem is what drove me to buy the DCS A-10 Warthog. :thumbup:

Ok, at first I thought I had one something wrong with the key assignments for my keyboard, but I just found out they work in "instant action mode". For some reason in training mode my "pause break" button won't work. Of course, you need this key to get the mission started so it seems I can't start any of my training missions. Anyone know why this might be? I just re-checked and in "instant action" the key works fine. Thanks in advance guys. Also, I can see that this going to be a long climb to get rolling. Just getting my TM HOTAS X joystick configured right and learing the keys is an uphill climb. Thanks to all those who have been extremely helpful. :thumbup:

Hey all, I've been doing some reading and did I get this correct? If I'm using Steam, which I am, I can't apply the patches that's available now? Also, with Steam updates/patches are controlled by Steam? I just wanted to get this straight. Thanks guys.

For some odd reason, I can't seem to highlight the "top entry" of the keyboard column. Or any other column for that matter. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks again.

Guys, need some help. I posted in the TM HOTAS X thread, but here it goes here too. (sorry for the multipost) I loaded up asparagin's .txt to .lua file for the HOTAS X key assignments. In doing that I accidentally cleared the assignments for the "keyboard" keys. So currently, I have no assignments for all the keyboard keys. How can I get the default assignments back for "keyboard"? Thanks in advance!

HELP! Ok, I got asparagin's .txt converted to a .lua file and got it loaded for the "game" config on my TM HOTAS X, but now the default keyboard assignments got cleared. How can I get the defaults back on for the keyboard assignments? Also, do I just do the same thing for the "sim" joystick assignments as I did for the "game" to get asparagin's .lua file loaded? At first, I almost gave up on this game due to its complexity (yes, I've only played those arcade sims up to now), but you guys have given me the motivation to learn this. A heartfelt thanks from me! I just wanted to introduce myself. I just downloaded the game from Steam and found this forum. I'm completely amazed by the game and the community here! :thumbup: I've been a long time lover of flight sims and the most recent one I've owned is the Microsoft FSX. I've been out of the scene for some time now and decided to return. So last week I bought the Thrustmaster HOTAS X and "then" went shopping for a game to play. That's when I found DCS A-10 Warthog. I was at first intrigued by the complexity of the game and was a bit weary to jump in, but I found myself drawn to the challenge of really learning to fly the Warthog. In the sim world at least. So here is the list of my gear: Asus G73JH-RXXB05 laptop Thrustmaster HOTAS X joystick (will this be adequate to play this sim or did I just waste money?) Next on the list TrackIR 5! Also, here are some issues I'm having: First one is a really novice one. I have set the game to be in "full screne mode", but for some reason the mouse pointer has gone invisible. So I can't see where or what I'm doing with the mouse. Is there a simple solution to this? I know, I feel stupid for asking this... Second, and this is a HUGE one. Where in the world do I begin??? Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! Oh, and you guys are awesome!
