  1. To make SPI the steerpoint, the command is TMS Down long, not up long. Then press China hat forward long to slave. If you want to slew the TGP, make it SOI first then use the slew hat.
  2. Thanks for the replies! All of the advice is quite useful! I haven't even started that mission or the campaign, just the basic Weapons Training or Shooting Gallery missions (I think that it is called that).
  3. Thanks that video is useful! I will be watching a lot of YT videos to become learned in flying missions.
  4. Hey guys! I am at the point where I can operate the aircraft fully and use all weapons systems but not with the efficiency and speed required for combat. I've tried a few missions but I always get shot down because I don't recognize which vehicles have AA guns and I don't have enough Mavericks or bombs to take the whole collection of vehicles out. What are some ways I can better recognize these types of vehicles? Does anyone have any good missions that will help me get better and have more practice before I start the campaign and harder missions? The training missions get redundant after awhile. Thanks!
  5. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar. Thanks for the quick fixes!
  6. Sure! A reinstall will fix it almost certainly, but here are my specs. CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 at 2.4 GHz Memory: 4gb RAM (not sure which DDR; 2 or 3 is my guess) Graphics: Two NVIDIA GeForce GTS 450 1gb cards HDD: 500gb Western Digital drive @ 7200 rpm OS: Windows 7 SP1 32-bit That's pretty much it. Hope it helps!
  7. I'm happy to report that after a reinstall from DCS's site, all ILS-related functions work perfectly and I now can complete the landing mission. Problem solved. Either there is something wrong with the Steam version or it corrupts the first install. After the reinstall, I have also noticed a slight performance increase with the original copy over the Steam copy. Thanks EvilBivol-1 for your time.
  8. After reading the other thread, I'll not post the track as you will get the same result. I'll try downloading off of the DCS site and reinstalling. I've never really trusted Steam installing huge and complex games like this one. I'll report back.
  9. I got the same issue over in the other thread. I'll try doing the Alt+Tab/Pause solution to see if it works. Please note that this issue is not just in the training mission, but in every single flight.
  10. I'll upload the track tomorrow as its getting late here now. But about the scroll wheel, when I do scroll over the mHZ and kHZ knobs, the knobs move as if they were working but the readout does not change. The same situation happened with the keyboard commands. The knobs move, the readout does not change.
  11. I'll happily do that, but I tried tuning it in a free flight mission and it wouldn't budge there either. I bought this on Steam a few days ago because of the sale with another friend and he has the same issue as well. We both have 1.1.0.8. The track is too big to be attached to this forum so I have provided a download link through Dropbox. Link - https://dl.dropbox.com/s/pauqefxrgroquzz/A-10C-Training-Landing.miz?dl=1 Thanks, Kevin Burns EDIT: I have set key commands to tune the ILS frequency. The knobs move when I press the corresponding key just as they do when I use the mouse, but the numbers in the readout do not change. All other radios that operate like this work fine. The ILS panel is the only one that seems broken at the moment. I am running 32-bit Win7 as well if that info helps.
  12. I can't tune the ILS frequency. It won't go past 108.300. I tried installing the training mission hotfix update and the 3gb switch but nothing has worked. Does anyone know a solution?
