After a fresh reinstall, problem solved.

Not the patch One day it was working, the next not. No patch issue. I would normally reinstall but with the limited installs, I don't want to waste one for this issue. It just bugs me when everything is not working perfectly.

It did I was clearly able to see it. Now I don't. It works in Black Shark. I run at 2560x1600 on a Dell 3011 with a GXT570. Latest 280.26 drivers. I just wonder what could cause it to stop working.

The heat blur does not work anymore. It used to but not anymore. I know it is speed dependant. Even at stall speed it does not display. Is there settings that could cause it to disappear?

I had a thread here earlier that for some reason was removed. If some recall, at any resolution I could not see the buttons around the screen as it was not resizing properly if I was under full screen. I found the solution through another program that was giving me issues as well when I was in the menus. You have to right click the executable and make sure under the compatibility tab that your OS is checked and the High DPI box is checked as well. The rest is, as they say, history. Now I just need to get my Nvidia AntiAliasing to work.

Is there another patch in the works that could solve this. Again, I don't understand why the interface of both sims would behave differently.

No, the Nvidia is all at default. Shouldn't Black Shark behave the same way as A10. One is fine the other not.

I have tried what you said. It does reset the game. However, the only way I see the buttons is if I leave it in windowed mode. No matter what the resolution, as soon as it goes to full screen, I lose the buttons. I will not play this game in windowed mode.

The Full Screen is checked so it's not in windowed mode. The latter would have probably allowed me to make the changes as the outside edges wouldn't have been sitting outside my monitor. I went straight from 1.0 to 1.02. I'll try what you said and see if a reduced resolution will cure it. As I said, DCS A10 works fine so it's a curable bug.

When I go to submenus, the edges are cut out. So I can't click the OK (FLY), CANCEL or X buttons. Debrief is the same. Obviously I can't make any changes to the sim. I have to use CTRL ATL DEL to get out. I was able to make initial changes the first time the game booted in windowed mode. I run it at 2560x1600 in full screen (I have a 30 inch monitor). Also the Windows task bar is still overlaid the menus. It behaves the same wether I'm running the 1.02 patch or not. By comparison, DCS A10 works fine at that resolution and the menus are sized correctly. BTW A10 is stunning at that resolution. Specs are: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit SP1, GTX 570 with 275.33 drivers, 4Gigs RAM, motherboard is Gigabyte Z68X-UD4-B3, Direct X 11.
