  1. Got the QPro one day early. Got a bad start, can’t get the link cable (oculus cable) to connect with Oculus app. Updated bios, updated chipset (amd B550 chipset), changed power settings for USB. Not sure more what I can do. Made a quick test with air link and DCS and was that impressed. Sure the clarity and brightness is super but the texts in the F16 was still blurry. I didn’t find any settings in oculus app for display Hz, but DCS reported 72fps. Hope I can get the link cable sorted, else it’s a return.
  2. Pulled the trigger for a QPro. Let you know me thoughts after the weekend.
  3. Ok, then I have misunderstood the performance perspective with the Pico 4. Then it’s the brightness, colors, no local dimming, no eye tracking that speaks against the Pico 4. But the QPro is 3x expensive. Hard choice..
  4. Thanks for that reply. I’ve got 3900/5800x3D.
  5. Got an offer to sell my G2 and I’m considering if it’s worth the money, 650$ to upgrade? Or wait for quest 3. Pico 4 seems to have performance issues with DCS if I understand the posts correctly. I run the reverb in 60Hz with great performance now in DCS. Just hard to decide, I would like a little better fov and bigger sweet spot…
  6. Startup in safe mode and reset all settings made the trick!
  7. In the game menu, I have activated Expert settings with no joy. I will try to make a screen shot.
  8. It’s a Reverb G2, rtx 3090. The problem is that there’s no setting in the toolkit anymore to enable the foveated rendering.
  9. I discovered that the settings for enabling Fixed foveated rendering is gone in my open XR toolkit, v1.24. How do I get it back?
  10. I’m thinking of an upgrade of my CPU, I have i5-9600K and a 2080ti. Do You think I will see any big improvement with a 5800X3D?
  11. How do You measure frame time in Open XR? In SteamVR I fpsVR but I this app doesn’t seem to work in Open XR environment?
  12. I run my Reverb G2 in 60Hz and I can’t see any flickering that many complaints about. Does OpenXR support 60Hz mode for Reverb?
  13. I have the exact same problem. Without the shaders mod it loads ok.
  14. I never considered AMD for DCS. I thought it was broken for AMD. Maybee this is the best choice if AMD still is ok: PowerColor Radeon HD 6950 2GB GDDR5 I Will get this for the same money as the gtx 570.
  15. Tnx guys for all replys. What I didn't mention was that I will run the game on 100" projector screen, in 1920x1200. Does this setup require more vram? I will go to Florida in a couple of weeeks. Is newegg the best place to buy a GPU from?
  16. I´m choosing between these cards (costs exactly the same) for an I5-2500K rig: Gainward GeForce GTX 570 1280MB PhysX or MSI GeForce GTX 560Ti 2GB PhysX (N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II 2GD5/OC) Which one is best for DCS-A10? I have heard that the game likes alot of VRAM, so maybe the 560Ti is the best...
  17. Want to build a mATX rig, have not got that much space for my PC. Is this a good combination? 18. I´m planning to buy a rig to able to play A-10. I will not have very much time but I still want to give this sim a chance. I played a lot of sims in the past. Therefore I´m planning to buy a laptop, will DCS a-10 be playable and which frame rates can I expect? I have 100" HD projector that I am planning to use sometimes. Can this laptop handle it? MSI GT780DX-215US - 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-2760QM, 2.4-3.5GHz, (32nm, 6MB L3 cache) - IC Diamond Thermal Compound - CPU + GPU (Cools better than all Compounds) - nVidia GeForce GTX 570M 1,536MB PCI-Express GDDR5 DX11 (SKU - X3R454) - 8GB DDR3 1600MHz CL9 Dual Channel Memory (2x4GB SODIMMS) (SKU - X4N212) - 750GB 7200RPM 16MB Cache Buffer (Serial-ATA II 3GB/s) - Default (SKU - X5R303) Will it be good enough or should I buy a desktop with an I5 2500K and GTX560Ti 2Gb? I want to use the PC for other stuff also, therfore I would prefere a laptop.
