  1. I watched your track, and problem is too low collective and too much force on cyclic. When you start track, I have included to this post, there should popup small, red window (if not, RCTRL+Enter). This shows your cyclic (diamond) and on its left side, collective (straight vertical line). Use that to compare what you did, and I (I took control after camera was changed to external). 2. Slow down to 0-5km/h, trim the aircraft to stable "almost-hover", then engage auto hover mode. If done properly, autopilot will do its job, otherwise turn it off and try again. Auto hover shows a circle in middle of HUD with square in it. This square is hover point. Autopilot will do EVERYTHING to keep this square in center of circle. If you notice that autopilot is doing weird things to keep it in center, stabilize yourself, press and release trim button (this will reset hover point to your current position). Yeah, there is “Trim reset” button, that resets trim to takeoff trim (be ready for sudden nose up after using this). Look, that’s helicopter, one of hardest things to fly for human, what do you expect? Push "level flight" button and that’s it? Try turning off all autopilot channels and fly this thing like it was done long before uber-electronics era. If you want to learn how to fly this thing, keep yourself calm even if you are crashing 30 times per hour. Raging will give you nothing except heart attack. EDIT: HUD circle should point exactly where Shkval is pointing.
  3. The altitude on the HUD is shown from radar altimeter, but radar altimeter works only below 300m above ground level. When you flying higher than 300m AGL, radar altimeter is switched off, and altitude value displayed on the HUD comes from barometric altimeter (which shows altitude above sea level). EDIT: Barometric altitude (ASL) has small plus sign in the beginning, radar altitude is followed by letter “p” or “r”.
  4. If you want to see certain enemy/friendly, you may select in on map (F10), then press F7. Selected unit will be shown first.
  5. Autopilot landing works perfectly. This is step-by-step how it should be executed. Mission Guns & rockets practice, test started at waypoint 4 (target area, long way from airfield). -press 1 to switch mode to RETURN (ВЗВ) and engage autopilot "route following" (keyboard A). -autopilot will then ascend to ~3k altitude (for some reason...) and fly towards the airfield. -watch your speed (!), autopilot will do some tight turns/descends , don’t allow it fly slower than 300 km/h (or faster than 500 km/h) or you crash/miss the runway. -autopilot will automatically switch mode to LNDG/ПОС and start approach. -when runway 8 is in front of you, maintain 300 km/h speed, flaps all the way down, gear too. -when you are lower than 50 m above the ground, disengage autopilot (LALT+9), flare aircraft yourself and land. -after touchdown throttle to idle, wait 2-3 seconds, open dragging chute. EDIT: If you are landing with air brakes on, give engines some more time before opening chute. DO NOT open dragging chute when engines RPM is more than 40% or IAS more than 300 km/h. EDIT2: LALT+6 is "route following" autopilot mode, but in this "guide" I was using keyboard A command (called simply "Autopilot"), not LALT+6.
  6. Yeah, I probably have to re-understand the concept of LLTV in a Toad (was confused all this time by FC2 "version" of it). Thanks for giving me straight answer. Life with Su-25T become even harder now. ;-)
  7. Hi. 1) I have a question regarding Mercury LLTV pod in Su-25T DCS World version. Back in FC2 times, video feed from this pod looked like this: In a DCS World however it looks much different: Please correct me if Im wrong, but I think that LLTV should look more like FC2, than World. 2) What about Russian voices in a Toad and Ka-50 (radio chatter, Rita)? Im aware of voice pack for BS2, but since there was added few new options to the comms menu, I dont think thats complete solution.
  8. Its possible to launch Hawg Touch from command line with already loaded profile, without starting GUI? For example: hawgtouch.exe profile.xml I want to start Hawg Touch with my data export app, when sim is starting. Profile select GUI is simply not necessary here.
  9. Hi. Is this even possible? Did this in BS, but failed to do same in FC2.
