  1. Thanks guys. That helps. (I think.) :smilewink: I am using FC2 with the latest patch and I like it very much. Should I be looking at anything else? Regards, Jim Edit: I have been unable to get on this site from yesterday morning until just now.
  2. My head is spinning. Can someone explain the relationship between DCS, Eagle Dynamics, Ubisoft, etc. And, is LockOn Platinum different from LockOn MAC + LockOn FC2 with the latest patch? DCS has A-10C Warthog as does LockOn. What is the difference? Why a standalone A-10C? Thanks to anyone who can clear up my confusion. Regards, Jim
  3. Here is the latest update. Running FC2 as Administrator solves the problem. My new mission shows up as expected. Now, I need more work on the mission. Regards, Jim
  4. Thanks for your reply. I have win 7 Pro 64 bit, but I don't think that is the problem. The Editor sees the mission in the list of all of the other missions included with the program. I can save and open, etc. all the things I expect. BUT, when I go to the main menu and select Mission, my mission is not in the list. And, when I use Windows Explorer to check the missions, my mission is not in the list. One late bit of data. If I start FC2 as Administrator, my mission doesn't even show up in the Editor. So, I will try again as Administrator and see if the mission will show up where expected. Thanks, Jim
  5. OK, I am trying to use the Editor to create a simple mission. After quite a steep learning curve I have created a mission. The Editor saves the file and I can see it in the mission list and open it again from the Editor. BUT, it doesn't show up in the Missions screen AND it doesn't show up in Windows Explorer. So, just where is the file going? Very aggravating! I even tried to save it to a different location, and it doesn't show up there either via Windows Explorer. I would appreciate any help in solving this mystery. Thanks, Jim
  6. I have mine set at 30 on the curve and 10 on the dead zone for all three axes. Maybe I will reduce the dead zone. Yes, I have the Saitek CD. I have the buttons 1-6 programmed in DCS for the usual, select weapons, fire, etc. There are other buttons on the base labeled P1-P2 and P4-P5 and two ^ buttons. Are these the ones to program? If so, what kind of stuff are you guys programming? Thanks for the advice, Jim
  7. I have a simple Saitek Cyborg Evo. I now have it set fairly well, no drift with hands off, not too sensitive, etc. Where would I look for a configuration? Thanks for the help, Jim
  8. Hi guys, complete noob to LockOn FC2 here. I need a guide to tuning my stick. I can fly OK, but the stick is too sensitive and has a tendency to dive and roll to the right. I have been to the correct place, but I am lost as to what the settings mean. For instance, when trying to tune roll, there is a box with a diagonal line, a small black spot on the line and a red dot off the line. What are they and what do they mean? Is there a guide somewhere that explains how to tune? Thanks for any advice, Jim
