They are aimbots. I fly the 3(?) mission following the rail low holding the hanging clothes in my hand and making S as an snake.. fast as hell and only one pass and they hit me everytime the three times I tried.. Always hit the engines. Both of them sometimes. Railgun of Quake3

Today I was in quick start mission in the channel cold and dark, and could only manage to start engines twice from maybe 6 times? Does anyone has this issue? Of course open window, prime engines, fuel cocks ok.. etc... as always... but when V for victory sometimes there is no fuel burn kick in.

yes. Still is an issue. If I don't press the comms menu, the captions will be where they have to (up right) but If I access the menu while captions, the menu will go on top right, and captions will be lower than menu. In VR with certain large captions can be very difficult to access some instruments in some aircrafts.

would be nice in these type of missions to have some kind of communication with the units we have to escort so we can ask to the atc via menus or whatever were they are in all moment. That way is easier to not get lost. Or make the units to be scorted to wait making circles in a waypoint and let us know the altitude they are.

It is supposed @Eagle Dynamics controls the quality of the planes the third parties sell. In this case it is totally forgotten.
I bought it after this discount. I should have tested previously, but as the first sentence I thought there was a control. What a mess of plane. The radios numbers are floating, the model of the hand of the pilot grab nothing of the joystick. The pointers in gauges don't show the fuel pressure increase, no fuel consume indication (floating as the radios), soundfx mehh....
I know what I will do when the Corsair comes. No buy until the Christian Eagle II is fixed.

I did this mission without any shoot. The bombers fired the F5 and returned home without sinking any ship.
Sorry but I don't like when there is no aid to see your flights. They just go and don't wait for you, or say where they are. The Awacs don't tell you neither. So among clouds I just travelled to more or less where I supposed to go and didn't find anything so I returned.
And yes, I put the radar sometimes to see if I could see my friends, that I had to escort, but there was no info about their altitude so sorry.. but I didn't like this mission.

I had this problem with quest2. battery was discharging in use specially with 1.5 supersampling. That is the reason I went to a displayport device.

You can try Mizedit. I have done several times translations with google or DeepL into Spanish and they work. Maybe there is one that not, but I think a good number of them worked. I mean payware campaigns. It preserves the copy protection when saving the mission with the new language added.

I think a datacard to change those parameters and others needs to be implemented in DCS. The JF17 has the option to set your programs in special options I think since begining. Hope we can see something similar or better for the rest of planes. As said, not only with CMD, but choosen MFDs configurations, Lines-circles of threads etc...

This is something I was thinking about. Pick up every miz that my bought campaings have. Put them in a dedicated server created in other computer that I have entered my login and password, so I could have
1. Better FPS
2. Could save the track, so i could make better video replays.
So then, that is not possible? I cannot try now, but I would be one computer with dedicated server and my user account, and other computer with client and my login account as well. Really don't care about progression saving.

ahh didn't know that. 10 seconds when you know what to look for. 10 years when not. I supposed the list of the missions would be able to put once the program loads. Thanks!

Just installed the modular server openbeta on an NIPOGI computer, and it stays on 716mb memory with 0% cpu and the splash screen for ages.

Not all people speaks english. Even I do, sometimes it is easiest for me if I can read the captions in spanish, my own language. I suppose other countires, as Germany, France, Itally, Russia, etc, fells the same.
I use a program called MizEdit for DCS Translators, and seems it does it right. Even for payware missions. Just load any mission, payware included, ADD a LOCALE "ES" language in my case and export the TXT, that I translate into Spanish with google to later import it and save the MIZ again.
It seems to work. In fact I didn't find any from multiple payware campaigns that didn't load, BUT sometimes I find strage things. For example today in the Enemy Within 3.0 enemy was invulnerable. So I believe maybe MizEdit breaks good function of those payware missions.
Because of that, I would like to see a tool from ED by default that could do the same as MizEdit, but garantee it wouldn't break anything of any mission. Payware or free. That way anyone can fly any payware mission even he/she don't understand anything of English.

sorry to come back this one.
In my case all the units where invincible in DCS 2.9. Even blu vs Red no one died between them. And I launched all my weapons. None soldier, building, trucks was destroyed or death.
Could be mods? doubt it, but I have Echo19 sounds, plus changes in mirage f1 hud lua files plus better smoke, nothing more without any aircraft mod installed.
Also what I did was to translate the mission to spanish with the MizEdit for DCS tranlators program, that never gave me a problem like this previously.
I suppose it has to be something mine, but in case someone find the same problem I just wanted to leave it here.

For me the video was a not high surprise. Yes, of course I will buy the Mig29A if it comes with enough A/G weapons, even is a plane with low flight time because fuel consumption, but the Mig29A was talked about they were doing it for long time, so no real surprise (of course yes to be finally developed).
The IRAQ map is a mehh for me, because even lots of wars has happened there, it is the greatest flat region in the world with lot of desert. When I flought it in MSFS I was sleeping in my cockpit. BUT if it comes with the mountains of IRAN up to TEHERAN, then mmmmm, that would be interestin! So lets see what ED has to say about it. I would preffer it more than going to the south to Kuwait.
But would have liked to have more surprises, or at least advanced in modules we are waiting for long time.
1. Vietnam. Yes, it is going to be produced, but if it is not in the video, how long will be when we have it? I know it can be a third party development, but also the video shows 3rd parties.
2. Where is Afganistan? I would like to see it more than Iraq for the Apaches. Again as Point 1. how far is to be complete if not shown in the video (unless the first base shown is Kabul)
3. it has been said, about the dynamic campaign, and yes.. it is true it is already talked previously but we have been waiting looong time, and more will be I think.
4. Other type of clouds? cumulonimbus, other weather hazards? (pleaseeeeee upgrade that ugly fog system!!!)
5. Chinook is great, but I won't buy it unless there is a more strong logistics gameplay. But I belive that only will come with dynamic campaign.
6. The huge great surprise it would be it ED would announce an Abrams full fidellity tank with multicrew. I play Steelbeasts and I think it can be done great in DCS. Or a CA 2.0
Don't get me wrong! it is great to see such additions comming to DCS. Lots of new helicopters, planes and terrains, but for a person like me that has ALL the aircrafts and terrains developed in DCS, I think I need more gameplay comming, than more terrains, or aircrafts, that I will buy of course (if I have the enough money when they are released) and I think, also gameplay sells even more than new modules. Specially for new people (please!! fix the AI flying with you!!)

Also people always think about PvP (not saying you do) and they try to fight with F18 etc. I believe it is an 1980 early plane so it should fight with it age planes, so maybe the strong one is the MIG29 then.
I think "all planes" PvP is making a bad influence in the development of DCS with people complaining about theirs module weak points against others, and "maybe" ED modifying the core weapons to match equally the PvP fights. You didn't say anything about PvP with the future Mig29A but I have read lot of users complain about the same "how I can fight against a F18, or F15e, or F16?"
Saying that, If in Ucrania war, we saw how the NATO put a HARM in a Ucranian Mig29, why not mod the future Mig29A with futuristic weapons, simulating that those A versions in a nowadays conflict?
If the A version has enough A/G weapons, I will buy it, because it is the most preatiest plane ever built, I think.

my fear is, how they are going to resolve the performance problem. Right now if you put some ground units fighting each other, fps goes down a lot. That has been a huge problem for long time in DCS multiplayer missions. Hope they find the clue to solve those situations without any performance issues.
