Grow a set and be a man...you have the right to disagree with me in an open discussion...I was only presenting my opinions about adding a civilian flyable to a sim that is full of other issues that could be adressed instead...if you feel insulted, Alfa, thats on you...it wasnt meant to be insulting...grow a thicker skin and stop abusing your forum mod status...

uhhhh.....yeah.... OK, so this is an old post dragged up from May of '06, and I have yet to see a new post from the ED team regarding the topic, but it does beg the question... Why on earth would ED waste so much time developing a civilian aircraft for a "Combat" sim when there are so many other GLARING problems with LOMAC that could be dealt with instead... Dedicated sever mode? Improved damage or flight modelling for current flyables? Additional Western flyables? (hint F-16, FA/18, F-15E or any fast mover that can carry A/G weaponry) Widescreen Support (or at least fix it where it doesnt wipe out my settings every time I go into options panel for anything at all) TrackIR bug.Do you get the point? I read something about spending 7 months on the Yak40 development, but none of the other problems in LockOn have yet to be addressed. I would say that this is unbelievable but from what I have seen with development of this Sim it is actually something more like "Typical". Don't get me wrong, I love flying LockOn, but spending so much time on adding something new that nobody even asked for instead of fixing problems that have been posted about "ad infinitum" seems crazy to me. Let me just say that there are a number of prescription medications on the market for ADHD that can add focus and clarity to ones day to day life. Perhaps some of those meds would be a step in the right direction. TX_Thumper

Yeah Reaper, I noticed the lag when the VBA joined during your display. I could tell that was a major problem but you handled it well. I also saw the rebound. I am surprised that it was as smooth as it was if you were maxing at 5 fps. Stellar flying from all, though. Can't wait to see the actual show and be able to evesdrop on comms. Thanks to JaBoG32 for hosting this, great idea. :D

I gotta say, Reapers solo was awesome. Looking forward to seeing the show. Big thanks to VBA Kato for the excellent VFAT mod.
