LockOn is a great game, but there is not even a single flyable aircraft which has multirole capability. Why is that? Is there an addOn available to fly planes with multirole capability like F16, F15E, Su30MKI, Mirage 2000 etc

The ability to scan and simultaneously track multiple aircrafts does exist in MiG29 and Su27. The place where these aircrafts differ are the ability to effectively target multiple aircrafts at same time and the number of aircrafts to track at a time. You can also see that non of Su27 or higher variants of Su27 have thrust vectoring, while it exist in real aircraft. Only that you can do is Cobra maneuver. Su33 gets into spin very easily and is a nightmare to fly at slow speeds, while in real the canards are added to make the place more stable at low speed. So, Su33 is supposed to be more maneuverable at both low and high speeds but its not there so in LOMAC versions I believe this would have been done for sales. LockOn might be selling more with western countries and no one would play LockOn if they are getting beaten by enemy a lot more. Think about it, F15 will not be able to survive Dog Fights if thrust vectoring of Russian aircrafts is allowed.

Have you tried the same? Have you flown a su30/Su30MKI and fired AG missiles from it?

I am trying to create missions, and current LockOn versions don't seem to have a multirole aircraft. Or does FC2 give that?

Does the Su30MKI support AG capabilities? Can I fire IR guided missiles, anti-radiation missiles?

And what next man? LCA MiG27 MiG23 MiG25 MiG31

Thanks alpinemike for sharing the link. combatace, on lockonfiles, the link shows "FC2 Su-30 Flanker Model 1.2". Anyone reading it would think that it is just another su30, like what happened with me. Could you communicate to the admin there that it needs to be changed to Su30MKI so that it is easy to find. If you want I can also ask whom so ever you want so that this is changed.

Where is the link to download MKI? I cannot even find a clue, please help me.
