I turned off steam which was running in the backround and that seems to have sorted it, seems to be a lot smoother with very little stutter aswell. thanks for the help guys, very much appreciated.

Hi Nate. I have 64bit win7 system, its not a crash the game is still running in the backround and i can get back into the game but every few seconds to minutes im back to the desktop, so im wondering will a crash log be any use to you at all, will it show up in log?

every few minutes the game will go to the desktop, the game keeps running and i can hear sound and i can click on the a10 tab in the tasklbar to get back to the game but after a minute or two its back to desktop again. same problem with v1.1.0.9
