  1. This doesn't seem to be the case for FC2. At any rate, I did finally find the correct options.lua (buried somewhere in C:\Users\xxx\) so I finally have multi-monitor partially working. Now I just need to figure out how to calculate the correct aspect ratios. I'm still very confused as to why people are using softh, I don't understand why it's necessary (unless you need the flexability to configure 2 monitors or > 3 monitors). It seems to me that to even use softh, you would need to downgrade to DX9. And as long as I'm asking clueless n00b questions. I'm confused about the fact that I can fly an A-10 in FC2 and DCS A-10 (and DCS BS?). How do these compare? How do these titles fit together with MP? If I have FC2 and connect to a BS server, am I limited in some way that I wouldn't be if I had BS or DCS A-10? (with regards to the A-10, I understand I can't fly the Ka-50 if I don't own DCS BS etc..)
  2. What do the iPad apps do? Can you provide a link to any of them? Is there some open API from ED that they use? I've been looking for a good idea for an android app to build as I learn android development. This might be it!
  3. Thanks for the reply, but in my case it's not a question of how many screens or resolution. I've tried dozens of configurations but none of them actually use the other screens. I'm not even able to set the correct resolution, in-game only allows me to choose up to the highest resolution of 1 screen (1900 x 1080) and I can't enter a resolution on the fly.
  4. Hello everyone. I'm going absolutely crazy trying to figure out how to get multi-monitor support working. It's all so confusing. I've gone through this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=60815 But all I end up with is a screwed up center view. It claims in that thread that you should be able to edit the resolution on the option screen in game, but I cannot. So I'm not sure if this only applies to DCS or not. I can't even figure out if FC2 is considered DCS or what - there doesn't appear to be a FC2 Tech support forum. I've tried editing the options.lua directly to change the resolution, but FC2 doesn't even appear to use this file. I even deleted it, and it didn't change anything; the game loads with the same options I saved before deleting the options.lua file. This is so confusing. I've also tried softh from this thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=51648 I had no luck with this either. I'm not even sure why this should be necessary since FC2 seems to support multiple monitors out of the box anyway. softth also seems to only support DX9, which I find extremely confusing since windows 7 comes with DX11, but apparently quite a few people are using it under windows 7 without issue. I've been at this for almost a week now, can anyone clear up my confusion? Thanks!
