Just also wanted to thank you for that great campain!!! :thumbup: Finished it yesterday and I had really fun playing it (although I accidently shot the UH-60 on the docks before I saw the Mi-8 but thanks it was not that "fragile" :music_whistling:)! I read before that it is not that hard so I thought I try it as my first campaign in the A-10C, and I also learned some new stuff in just trying to make everything correct. So, war jetzt leider krankheitsbedingt etwas abwesend und konnte nichts Neues berichten. Habe jetzt den Catalyst 11.2 wie empfohlen installiert, aber es ist und bleibt dasselbe Ergebnis - das Spiel startet, beginnt zu laden und hängt sich irgendwann auf. Ich habe es auch schon (da ich mir ja nicht nachsagen lassen will das ich ein ungeduldiger Mensch bin) geschlagene 35min laufenn lassen auf dem "Please wait"-Status, aber es ging nicht weiter. Einen wunderschönen guten Morgen - back from the test. Also ich hab jetzt gestern alles getestet aber es funzt leider immer noch nicht. Zuerst hab ich mal Deine Dateien verwendet. Dann hab ich die optimization im Catalyst A.I. abgestellt und MSAA und TSAA ebenfalls - leider mit dem selben Ergebnis. Danach hab ich dann noch auf den neuesten Catalyst (12.1 - ich hatte vorher den 11.11er drauf) upgedated aber leider auch ohne Erfolg. Für's downgraden des Catalyst war es mir gestern dann schon zu spät, das werde ich heute nochmals versuchen. Was aber tadellos funktioniert hat ist das ausschalten des Shkval Monitors im Cockpit und nach dem hab ich mich auch noch an die Umordnung der Monitore gemacht, welches auch super funktioniert hat - Anordnung ist jetzt 1920x1848 und läuft auch ohne SoftTH, so wie vorher nebeneinander, ohne Probleme. Ok das sind sehr viele Hinweise - vielen Dank! Wegen der CPU bin ich eh gerade am schauen da ich jetzt noch abwarten wollte wie es mit den 2011er-Board Serien von Intel aussieht und dann etwa in diesem Jahr updaten. Aber das mit der Aufteilung ist interessant - ich habe die Anordnung eigentlich nur gewählt da ich wie gesagt kein Profi auf diesem Gebiet bin und im englischen Forum der Thread mit dem Mulit-Monitoring vorschlug den Hauptmonitor links und den/die Zusatzmonitore rechts davon anzuordnen, so das ich mich bei der vorgeschlagenen Konfiguration besser an das Beispiel halten konnte von den Eintragungen her. Du hast natürlich recht das es von der Pixelanzahl viel weniger ist was verloren geht. Also - werde mal SoftTH zum laufen bringen, dann morgen Rückmeldung geben und danach schau ich mir das mit den Änderungen an. Danke, Grüße PS: Würde es leistungsmäßig etwas bringen den Shkval Monitor im Cockpit (im Spiel) zu deaktivieren, wenn das möglich ist, sodaß er nur auf dem Zusatzmonitor angezeigt wird? Ich habe im Hinterkopf das es da mal einen Thread im englischen Forum gab, finde ihn aber nicht mehr.

Ich habe es auch schon mit 1024x768 probiert in der config da das ja die automatisch generierte config eingetragen hat, aber das hat auch nicht gefunzt daher habe ich ein bißchen rumprobiert - da ich aber alles andere als ein Profi auf dem Gebiet bin hat es nicht wirklich geklappt. Werde heute Abend gleich Deine Änderungen testen wenn ich zuhause bin und morgen Rückmeldung geben. Da ich schon gesehen habe das Du allen anderen mit solchen Problemen auch super helfen konntest bin ich sehr zuversichtlich. Nochmals Danke und ich melde mich morgen wieder! Grüße! Hallo erstmal alle zusammen! Habe durch dieses tolle Forum und den vielen genialen Beiträgen es geschafft in BS 2 (v1.1.1.1) auf meinem 24"er das Cockpit und auf einem 7"er die Shkval-Ansicht darzustellen - funktioniert auch tadellos. Das einzige bei was ich jetzt noch Hilfe brauchen würde wäre folgendes: Ich habe mich in SoftTH eingelesen und es mehrmals versucht aber ich schaffe es einfach nicht das Spiel damit zu starten. Meine Monitoranordnung: Meine Kamera und Shkval lua: Meine Options.lua: Und hier meine SoftTH config: Ich habe die v2.08b 64bit von SoftTH verwendet da mein PC auf Win7 64bit läuft - das sollte soweit passen. Das Spiel startet und wenn ich eine Mission (Instant Action - Free Flight over Sukhumi oder auch jede andere) starten will dann erscheint auch der Ladebildschirm (über beide Monitore erstreckt) aber das Spiel benötigt wirklich ewig lange bis sich der Ladebalken bewegt und irgendwann bei "Please wait" bleibt er dann komplett hängen und ich kann nur noch mit dem Taskmanager aus dem Spiel aussteigen. Yes - I can tell you I'm glad too. I've right now reprogrammed the joystick and the throttle and tested the buttons again inside the game - everything works fine, every button pressed is recognized by the game, even if you press them quickly a few times, no prob. Just have to reprogramm the MFDs tomorrow - too much work for today, just going to sleep right now. Thank you again and I wish you a merry christmas! Greetings! Thank you very very much for your help GregP!!! I've now reinstalled the complete game (incl. patch) - just to be sure. Didn't solve the problem - I thought so, anyway. Worked your link through (I always forget that the 2 games work on the same engine, that for I didn't do any search in the A-10C forums - sorry), tested a little with the TARGET software and it seems that I found a solution. I have to program the configuration of buttons pressed which include modifiers in another way than before. My programming was for example: Autopilot - Altitude = LSHIFT+a (this was one event) now it looks like this in TARGET: Autopilot - Altitude = LSHIFT (press) a (press) a (release) LSHIFT (release) 4 events to program but it seems to work as I tried in the control options and the game would always take the push of my MFD-button as "LSHIFT a". The delays don't need to be changed by the way, tried it with 50ms and with "default" - worked both ways. First of all Hi to all here in the forum! I’m from Austria and for a while a reader in this great and very kind forum. I have a big problem right now and out of ideas – in the hope someone here can help me. Have BS for quite a while but seriously I started to play some weeks ago. I learned to love this game and was very pleased to see that in the meantime BS2 arrived – ordered the update-version as soon as I saw it. My flight instruments are the Thrustmaster Warthog and the Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs (I know they’re not realistic in this helicopter but the use of the keys works great for me), TrackIR 5 and my system is Win7 Home 64bit. I have made myself a configuration for the input devices in the Thrustmaster TARGET software and all worked perfectly in BS – started to play the campaign. In the middle of the campaign I saw BS2 has come out for some time and I couldn’t resist to buy it. So after installing BS2 and the update v1.1.1.1 a few days later I realized that some buttons on the joystick/throttle and on the MFDs suddenly aren’t working anymore. After doing some research I found out that all buttons mapped over the TARGET software which contain a modifier (SHIFT, CTRL, etc.) are not recognized by BS2 – so the game does recognize the button but only without the modifier (for example: I’ve programmed “SHIFT+A” to a button on the MFD and when I press that button in the game, it only recognizes the “A”). I did read in the patch notes that the v1.1.1.1 has broken the joystick configurations with the custom modifier keys, but I didn’t use any custom modifier keys. I just programmed the original key-layout in the TARGET software. The only thing is that I used the german-version of BS and in lack-of-availability bought the english-version of BS2. I deleted all the original-modifiers in the game-options and put them in again – nothing. So now I tried to delete the input-folder in the “C.\User\...\Saved Games\DCS Black Shark 2”-folder to reset all controls to default. I looked in the games in the options/controls section and tried a configured button but still the same. I even reconfigured the TARGET profile and changed all the german key-layout to the english key-layout but no success. A complete reinstallation is the only thing I haven’t tried yet because I’m in the middle of the campain and fear that it won’t help. I also know that I can use the input controls without the TARGET software but it is not possible to map all keys as I want and I think if it worked before it should work with BS 2 also (hopefully).
