@baltic_dragon I completed the mission. What I was doing wrong was I was not doing the readback. That did the trick. Great campaign!! Thanks

if you set these in Settings (ie Random Failures and Birds), do they get over-ridden in campaign?  I also experienced an engine failure, and once, I had my laser die on me. The TGP was working but not the laser.

Hi Baltic, hey thanks for looking into it. Your support here is unparalleled! After this mission I'll start with Raven One. And when Iron Flag comes out, i'll purchase that too.

 

So I'll try this mission again tomorrow and see if I can finally finish it. Either way I'll be sure to let you know. And if it doesn't work, I'll upload a track file.  I'd fly again later but today's my wedding anniversary and if i want to keep on flying DCS well....

Hi,

 

So I go through the mission just fine until I find Axeman and locate the manpads.  However I can't seem to progress beyond this point.  I get the coordinates from Axeman, find the manpads and blow them up, and that's it.  Nothing happens afterwards. I've seen videos on youtube where Axeman immediately confirms the destruction of the manpads.  Am I missing something? On different occasions I have used GBU-38 and GBU-12 with the same result.  Do I need to approach from a particular direction?  Do I need to use rockets? Any help would be appreciated.

Anyone ever manage to use the Avenger canon as a nose wheel?

[Inverter Switch]

Bigfoot, I initially started with the battery switch and the 2nd switch I turned on was the inverter. That would set off the Master Caution. To stop this from happening, I simply started with the inverter switch and the battery switch next.

 

When I get back home, I'll check and make sure of the version cause I run both DCS A-10 1.1.1.1 and DCS World 1.2.0 on my laptop and could have gotten the versions mixed up.

I run A-10 1.20 for DCS World and I also noticed this. I just turn on the inverter switch before the battery. I find it just an annoyance, although I don't know if there is actually anythng wrong.

I'm new to DCS and all the modules but i've just finished installing DCS World and all the modules and I'm starting to fiddle around with DCS Mustang. I'v seen that the control for taking screenshots is "SysRq". I've tried taking shots but can't find where it's located. Can someone tell me where to find them?

Well, I don't normally pre-purchase anything but I just got CA and P-51D, I've already got A-10 and BS2. Looking forward to completing my DCS World download and all the modules.
