How to backup the current controler setup?

Hi, Ive spend some time to set up each controler the way I want it, and recently Ive reinstalled Windows due to a Hardware upgrade. Now I had to do the same thing over again, how can I backup the controler setup(s?)? "Make txt" doesnt MAKE a .txt it just links to the directory where all the default profiles are stored. "Save profile as" doesnt create a file that i see. So Im kinda confused.

When i land during the Campaing missions my Wingman goes like "2nd, rejoin" for like 3 Minutes, how can i calm him down? Or tell him that im going to land, so he wont be afraid im leaving him?
