So when I did the startup training mission I can see and hear a a-10 land. Now that I have moved onto the campaign I can hear a plane landing but don't see it. My settings are set to high. I also noticed for a base that is supposed to be supporting a squadron of a-10s I only see my wingman waiting for me to start rolling. Also on approach for landing I see other aircraft taking off but once I get close and land the base is empty except for a few parked helicoptors. This is more of an observation than a question.

I see. It would be nice to know they responded. I could loiter outside the combat zone and see if the triple a or the sam sites disappear. I wish DCS would make the coms better.

I'm having problems calling in sead and cap aircraft on missions. I am able to talk to awacs, atc and my wingman. Those flights sead/cap are not blacked out. I have easy comms setup. I press f2 or f3 sfter pressing other in comms menu. whatever the key is for sead/cap and I get nothing back. I looked at the dcs a-10 manual and under comms it shows wingman, atc and jstars but nothing about other flights. Am I missing something here or is it just buggy?

My problem is not my wingman. It is getting sead or cap aircraft to respond. I'm still learning this sim and I have easy comms check marked. When I request one of those flights I get no response at all even though they are not blacked out in the comms menu screen. Awacs and atc respond.
