Eddie What I've been trying to do is contact approach control of the airfields I attemp to land at after I have finished with a mission. I get the approach freq's from the CDU divert page. Then for example I try to input the freq. into the VHF FM radio (131.000) the first digit only will go down to 3, no further. I've tried to insert a 1 as the first digit of the frequecy on all three of the radio's but they all only go as low as 3. I hope I have explained clearly what I've been trying to do. Thanks cagrimes

XXJOHNXX I tried to put the "Batumi" appr. Freq 131.000 in the VHF radio under the Throttles but still can't enter a number 1 as the first digit. The first position won't go lower than number 3. I put the left selector knob in AM and the right selector knob in TR position. Cagrimes

Hi Eddie That worked thanks but I have another problem, When I'm approching an airfield for example "batumi" (App. Freq.) 131.00 VHF I can only dial in low as 3. I can't put a 1 as the first number when I try it on the VHF or UHF Radio's,can you tell me what I'm doing wrong ? Thans cagrimes

When I try to select the first digit of a Tacan Channel number the knob doesn't move.The only change I can make is with the XY Channel Knob and flip-flop X and Y. Can you tell me why I can't get the Channel Select Knob to move ? Thanks cagrimes

In the manual on page 473 it says "To view airfield ILS and Tacan codes,please view the CDU DIVERT page of the desired airfield". Were is the CDU DIVERT page ??????????? cagrimes

The ; and . keyboard keys are for Locking and Unlocking the Maverick seeker head. I can't find the default keyboard Actions for the two,can someone help me with this ????? SEE ATTACHED cagrimes

I'm just an old fellow that purchased my first computer back in 1991 and what made me decide was after flying "Chuck Yeager's Air Combat" flight simulator by Electrinics Arts. I continued to buy just about every flight sim that was released up to just resently DCS A-10C Warthog which is the best thing that ever happen in the combat flight sim community. My controller is a Thrustmaster T16000M and I would like to have the hat remain as my 4-WAY VIEWS and set up the Modifier to also us the hat as the Target Slew. If any had success in doing this could you please help. Thanks cagrimes

In trying to employ weapons to attack targets I've re-mapped my thrustmaster joystick a dozen times but haven't had any success yet in deploying the Maverick/smart weapons. Can someone using the joystick (T16000M) that's had success in programmig the default key's to deploy weapons could you pass on your settings to me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks cagrimes

Britt007 In step 4 of the Mav. procedure you sent me when you say "or press FUNC then 8 MARK on the UFD". Do you mean the (FUNC) function KEY (Fn) on the Keyboard ? You have UFD, did you mean UFC for the Front Panel above the Fire Warning? Britt007 when I pressed my Fn Key on my keyboard and then 8 MARK on the UFC a Number [8] showed up in brackets on the bottom center of the HUD. Is that a good sign that I pressed the right combination to put the steerpoint switch into Markpoint mode ? Thanks cagrimes

Hello Britt In your tip on deploying the Maverick you mentioned using "TMS UP" . I only see TMS Fwd,Aft,Left,Right in the Controls Option Window ???????????? Cagrimes

I just can't get a view of the target or a lock when useing the AGM-65. I get as far as an active right MFCD as the SOI then slewing the little bug into the target area but can't get any further. I've been watching the Maverick videos by Tiger but they haven't helped. Can someone help me? BTW what is the best Mission to fly and lear the Maverick ? Thanks cagrimes

Hi Dejjvid I'm trying to map my joysick according to your procedure for employing the AGM-65 and when you said press "TMS UP SHORT" when in range for the missile to track. I don't see "TMS UP" included in the default keyboard list. I see Forward/AFT/RIGHT/LEFT. Is it not there or am I missing it ,please HELP!!!! Thanks cagrimes

Hi Dejjvid Thanks for replying to my post and if you can help it will be appreciated. My major problem is not knowing the abbreviations of the equipment used like, DSMS,MSL,EO ON, TGP. In your reply you mentioned the DMS left/right short, coolie hat right short,coolie hat right long. What does the "Short" and " Long" represent ? So as I've said if I knew what the abbreviations stood for this would come easier for me. Can you tell me if the Abbreviations documented in the manual or some were else ? Thanks cagrimes

Hi I'm ATTACHING the intructions that I've been trying to follow and I Mapped my T16000M joystick for each one of the default keyboard commands. I can never get the AGM-65 Missile set up and the target in the right MFD to lock onto. SEE ATTACHED cagrimes

I just resently purchased the DCS A-10c Warthog and patch up to V1.1.1.1. It's the best Looking + Stable flight sim I've ever owned and I got them all :-)))). I've been trying to setup/Map the function key's necessary to Employ the AGM-65 Maverick with no success. I've watched Tutorial Videos on youtube and read a lot of different procedures from guy's flying the A-10C warthog one in particular (SEE ATTACHED). Well I don't know how to ATTACHED files to this message so Can someone help me with this problem ??? Thanks cagrimes
