  1. I know 1.2.9 was not intended as a bug fix release for the F-15, but regardless this issue is still a problem in the current release. Not an issue with the A-10C, and the F-15 flight dynamics seem to respond correctly so almost certainly an instrumentation issue. The flap auto-retraction speed is also affected by this wind setting though not in the same manner as the IAS.
  2. I bought the F-15C in the current sale and it's an awesome model, and great fun to fly. However whilst practising landings with some wind turned on I've found an issue with the airspeed. To demonstrate the issue clearly I've put 50m/s wind directly down the runway, track attached. On the ground, the airspeed scale indicates 210 kts. (It should indicate about 100kts with the wind as set). Accelerating down the runway and getting airborne the speed jumps from around 300 to 100. Landing again the speed jumps back again. Then I turn around on the runway for a downwind takeoff. As I'm stopped pointing downwind the airspeed incorrectly indicates 200 knots, then as I accelerate it starts reducing towards 0, then lifting off it jumps to indicate 250 knots. The groundspeed on the VSD indicates correctly throughout, but it seems that when airborne the IAS is actually showing groundspeed. Obviously with more sensible winds this is less of an issue, but it's still a factor in the traffic pattern when turning downwind to final as the Pitch/Power/AoA seems to be correct but the Speed is unreliable. Can anybody else confirm this bug? F15 Airspeed Issue.trk
  3. Great, Thanks! Any idea about the Landing ILS where there are two ILS approaches for one airfield?
  4. Thanks for that, yes I understand the different modes, sorry for not being clearer. It's the numbering I'm interested in.
  5. I downloaded DCS World over the weekend with the intention of buying the Mustang, but have been having too much fun with the Su-25T. I understand this is an earlier generation sim model with simplified avionics, but it flies really nicely. I have a few questions on the Enroute navigation: Is there a listing of the airfield numbers on the Return to base mode? I've installed the Blaze/Ricardo HD cockpit and there's a list on the kneeboard, but it doesn't seem to much up. I guess the model is simply giving a number to each airfield on the map? I was wondering if they were in the same order as the A-10C "Mission" waypoints on the CDU? How do the Landing waypoint mode numbers work at an airfield with two ILS approaches? Perhaps there is an RTB number for each ILS? If this is the case what about airfields with no ILS? Can the numbers be modified in the files somewhere? For that matter can the A-10C have extra mission database waypoints added? Also, in the HD cockpit textures (which have english placards on the operational switches) the names on the autopilot don't seem to match what is selected. Are there any more details on what the autopilot annunciator lights indicate - I've looked in the Lock On 1.1 manual but it's not too clear. Thanks, --Graeme
  6. Hi Tez, Many thanks for getting this fixed for me. I've got the serial number now and will be activating shortly. Best Regards, --Graeme
  7. Thanks for your help, I've PM'd Tez.
  8. Ah, OK. Is steam having the same problem issuing serial numbers then?
  9. Still no sign of a serial number on the DCS site. Would it be better to recover the payment through PayPal and purchase on Steam instead?
  10. Thanks for your reply, I've tried IE and Chrome on two different machines, and cleared cookies on both.
  11. Hi All, Yesterday I purchased DCS A-10 in the E-Shop, and although I received a transaction ID, there was no serial number supplied. I've seen the forum thread on where to find the serial number, but it's not there - not on Order History, not on the download page and not on the confirmation email. I opened a support ticked 12 hours ago but haven't heard anything yet. It's really frustrating - my new computer arrived yesterday (the old one had no chance of playing A10) and I already had the A10 installer downloaded and ready to go so I wouldn't have to wait for a steam download! I've spent all the time waiting for my new pc watching the tutorials on YouTube and working out HOTAS mappings, so I wanted to get straight in and flying! Any suggestions on how to get the serial number? --Graeme
