Ironhand. Kuky and Erich, I want to thank you all for taking the time to post replies to my question. They are very helpful and they did answer my question. Thank you also for taking the time to create missions, etc. I found out what my problem was. I had to ask one of the gurus in our group. I have the MIG29 mapped out on my HOTAS, but none of the radar switches would work. The problem was when I was going through my "turn on" key presses, I was also hitting the "O" key, because it said optical or something. I thought it turned on the target cursor. The "O" key actually switched the types of radar to a smaller infrared radar, hence turning off the main radar. Because I hit it everytime, the main radar never functioned correctly. Thank you all so much. We have a group of 10-20 who go flying just about every night, if any of you want to join. Sorry I didn't clarify, but I am talking about Flaming Cliffs 3.0, and it did not come with a book. Are you saying that the Flaming Cliffs 2 models are the same as Flaming Cliffs 3? Could you please point me to a video or anything that you have so I can learn please. EDIT: I just noticed you moved me to Lockon. It's a module for DCS World, so why would you move the thread to here? Isn't this game the older stand alone version? Just curious. EDIT 2: I just noticed the entire board is full of FC3 info. Weird that it isn't in DCS World.

KUKY, I tried using the modes as described in the video... but they do not work nor show any status changes like they do in the video. Thanks XAOS. I watched all of those videos already and none of them touch on the MIG-29. The closest was the SU-27, but the modes are very different than the MIG-29, so the commands do not work the same.

I'm new to Flaming Cliffs, but have been playing A-10 for a year or so. I have all the modules and most of them have downloadable exe's to install videos for training. I have watched most of the videos, but they don't touch on the MIG-29 at all. I watched the SU-27 video, but the radar is different in regards to the HUD. Are there any videos people can recommend so I can learn how to use the radar and lock up targets? I can currently use mode 3 pretty well, beyond that its a fog. Thanks.

Wonderful! I used this to pass this mission. That landing was tough. You would think they would light it up more.

Fixed this and want to put the solution in case anyone else has this. Apparently, I had flipped the small "Surround" switch on the headphones under the power switch. This forced everything into my right ear only. Fix was just to slide it back.

New installation of Blackshark 2. Realtek Surround Audio and using Logitech G930 Surround headset. When I start up the game, sound only comes through the right ear. All sound, music, everything.. only in the right. I have Surround Enabled in the OPTION screen.
