How do I get A10 to recognize my CST racing pedals and use them for rudder control? When I enter the axis mapping, and double click the empty slot under CST pedals and them press the pedals, it wont register them. Can anyone help with this? thanks crank

For some reason the '\' does not pull up the comms menu anymore, and yes I have the easy comms selected in the settings. I tried mapping it to a button and also get nothing. Any ideas? Thanks

I am wondering specifically how the master caution alarm signal could be sent to the UFC panel I am building. My friend who is handling the board layout for me said it is quite simple to make a controller board for the UFC, but he was asking me about how the signal would get sent to the UFC from the game. Does it require some software to be running in the background on the PC, or can it be handled somehow in the microcontroler he will build for the UFC.

I would like to make the CDU but I don't know how the buttons are made. Can anyone point me to a thread or site with info on making them? I've seen pitbldr's UFC and I would buy one from him, but it looks like he is too busy with other things to produce anything for sale. It would also be more fun to make it myself.

I was wondering what is the best way to make the black panel faces with white text. Has anyone tried gluing 1/32" black sheet over a thicker white sheet, then etched out the text through the black layer to expose the white underneath? Then clear coat it. I have not read all 50+ posts on this thread, so I apologize if it has been discussed already. Thanks

I like most of the layout for the TH Warthog, but would like to add a few things (use the mic hat for track IR and view commands). Is there a profile out there in the fcf format for T.A.R.G.E.T. is a copy of the default A-10 lau file? Or is there a simple way to change a few of the commands on the default profile? I want to map F9 and F12 to pause, and re-center for the trackIR. Thanks guys. crank:smilewink:

If I use my old PC to run my helios/MFD display, and just use my new PC (with 2 - 3gig GTX 580s)to run the 3 monitors for my view, I hope I can achieve a high frame rate.

Whatever it takes without getting ridiculous. By that I mean not just buying the highest of each piece of hardware of each type. thanks

I plan on having front, left, right side view out of the cockpit, and have a touchscreen monitor below for my helios cockpit with the 2 MFDs on them. I heard you can use a second PC to run Helios on other monitors and network them to your main PC. If this is correct I can use my existing system to run those.

I was planning to buy a new system to play A10 and Blackshark and need some recommendations. I want it to run high graphics settings, smooth with a high framerate, 3 monitor view (1920x1080 X 3). I want intel and nvidia hardware. So, how much RAM, how many video cads and type, and what kind of CPU do I need for these results, without just buying the top of the line of everything. I have a quad core 9550, 4 gig RAM, GTX 460 1 gig right now, and I find gets choppy at times, and it wont support 3 monitor view as is. It gets even worse when Helios is running on a second monitor. Of course, If this system can be upgraded in such a way to get the above mentioned results, without replacing 75% of the hardware, I would consider that. Thanks for the help. crank

I recently started using a second monitor for my MFDs in A10 as well as Helios for my cockpit. I noticed a significant drop in FPS, that is making me think of upgrading my PC. Am I correct to think that adding a second video card will be the best way to enhance FPS when using multiple monitors? Running the second monitor on the second card rather than both off the same graphics card? My system; core 2 quad 9550 running at 3.2ghz nvidia GTX 460 4 gigs ram Thanks crank
