Default keybindings in the future?
Shadow replied to Shadow's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
And if you are flying with someone who is looking for a particular function mid-flight its easier to explain "hit the X-key" instead of go to the settings menu, select "search" and search for "xxxx". Plus if you re-install the game on a different pc or re-install the OS on your current pc you need to make sure you exported all your in-game keybinds. Some sort of default keybinds would go a very long way. -
Default keybindings in the future?

I think its best when the keybinds are pre-made (for the keybord) because its normally documented. Then I can quickly set up my own config for my HOTAS. In my case using the TM-editor for my Warthog. -
Default keybindings in the future?
Shadow replied to Shadow's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
For starters there are no pre-made kebinds for the buttons for the cyclics, collectives and MPDs. -

Currently the AH-64 default keybinds are sorely lacking compared with the other modules I own (A-10C, AV8, UH-1, SA-342). Are there any plans for a more complete default keybinding for both the pilot and cp/g in the future? I'm just wondering before I put too much effort into setting up keybinds and programming my HOTAS.

One needs to define this variable in each mission, yes. The server browser can already fetch mission name and description. Fetching another variable should be a small task. Essentially a separate button for "server info" that reveal flyable aircrafts, currently connected playernames, mission description, current in-game time of mission and any other sort of info that is of use before deciding to join the mission would go a long way.

Server browser suggestions for Ka50 & FC2 The server browser badly needs some minor improvements IMO. 1: There is no way of telling what flyables are available without connecting. I can even connect to FC2-games with Ka-50 where there are no Ka50s selectable. 2: There is no way of telling the type of mission without connecting. 3: No way of changing the sorting order by... servername/players/ping/missiontype Suggested solutions: 1:A simple standardization of showing CO/TvT/DM (COOP/RedvsBlue/Deathmatch) as a tag in the server browser is whats needed here. 2: If a server does not have your aircraft flyable it should not be listed or atleast be highlighted in a different colour. 3: Sorting the server list by clicking the top column for mission, ping etc. If tags for mission types are implemented then a way to filter out all but one type is also desireable.

When you set up LALT, RALT, LSHF, RSHF etc in your macro (.tmm) you need to add codebrackets like this: Engine_L_on = {RCTL HOME} Engine_L_off = {RCTL END} Engine_R_on = {RSHF HOME} Engine_R_off = {RSHF END}

Hi. I'm reading this in the recruitment-topic at your forum: How do one get invited to a test-flight with you guys? :) I'm only flying the Hog and am looking for fellow Hog-drivers. I live in Norway so if most of your members are Euro timezones should'nt be a problem.

I'm not convinced this is only a Nvidia-driver issue. It could well be a game-bug. Here's what I posted at the SimHQ forum: Look at these two screens. Screen3, Screen4. Both are taken at the same time while the game is paused. When I look from the player-plane's view (F2) the structure has no shadow, but when I look from the carrier's viewpoint (F9) it does indeed have a shadow. I discovered this by accident because I crashed into the deck on my previous attempt and the viewpoint changed to the carrier :D This is with Forceware 81.95 and 6800gt and FC1.11.
