stripped payload and trialled there. went up like a wee beauty and transitioned with no issues. need to work on binding as was a bit tricky with the controls but that comes down to preference and memory. thanks for the pointer. it was certainly something i had overlooked.

OK. I am obviously missing something here but it seems that someone has superglued myharrier to the ramp. not had any success since release in performing a vtol. situation i continue to have is with brakes on - no movement at all (nose does not want to pitch up) or with brakes off it rolls either forwards - backwards (dependant on nozzle angle) or again, stays planted on the tarmac. i can lift the nose at this point but it does not want to go above 6deg. i think i'm reading correctly i need a 10deg pitch but this just isn't happening. flaps are in stol setting and externally things look all set when compared to some of the videos and images i've looked at. have i overlooked something obvious? thanks.
