I wouldn't know where to start to uploading it yet alone recording it lol if you can visualise your heading towards a cloud it starts firstly jerking towards you then the rotate comes and as you get closer the outer layer just vanishes then your left with the large inners of the cloud that look astonishing, sorry it's not much help but this is how it looks lol

So you have this to? And yes it's very annoying as the game looks so real but then a rotating jerking cloud kinda makes it not is so strange how the outer cloud layer just vanishes then you have this amazing looking cloud just like it should be

Thanks for help again have now figured MFCD's after having good read from above links. your laugh but due to only having limited buttons/controls on my cheapy flights stick I've keyed the steering of pod cam to a Xbox controller to save fumbling around on keyboard, also came across a link for setting up face track noir so dug out the ps3 eye and now have that up and running is great :) if anyone has a tweaked face track file for warthog would be great :thumbup: Anyway back to the game :pilotfly:

I have a cloud problem in black shark 2 (dcs download) and a10c (steam download), graphics are beautiful and smooth as can be (all at full/max) but the clouds then remind me it's a game as they act so odd and unreal, when I fly towards a cloud it slowly jerkingly rotates then the closer you get the jerky rotating outer part of clouds vanishes then your left with a amazing smooth cloud effect which is how it should be. So what's with this outer layer of cloud? Anyone experience this I have tried lowering graphics and still happens but like I say game runs perfect and with no stuttering on full graphics and shadows and cockpit on 1256 bit but these damn clouds are ruining the realism for me :cry: Will be grateful for help on this thanks guys :thumbup:

I will have a good read from the links as just the MFCD I am struggling with As for my flight stick (don't laugh) its a cyborg fly 5, only a cheapy one as was fine for wings of prey :pilotfly: am only really getting into the sims again which is why first step was a new pc to even be able to load them Thanks again :thumbup:

Would really appreciate links or help with using MFDs how do you manually move camera around on mfd screen when searching forvtargets, can't figure what key commands it is :cry: Am also struggling with using map on MFD and waypoints have tried the tutorial but I find easier and have done so far by watching indepth utube vid tutorials, actually succeeded on campaign lol As much as love the game I have a real steep learning curve, looks like this /) :helpsmilie: please help me conquer the above any pointers or links or help appreciated immensely as usual. Am 2 weeks old on this sim :thumbup:

thats odd as thought i had it in sim mode but had some of the game options turned on like labels and unlimited fuel, i do use the MFCDs but only in cockpit view just wanted rid of them on the external view for doing some screen shots, will double check if in sim or game mode, thanks SORTED NOW THANKYOU

Cant find key commands to turn off the 2 MDF displays in top corners of screen when viewing game on external F2 view? Want to do some screen shots but looks horrid with these 2 cockpit displays showing :( Also done the ctrl and pause Fps display is 59-61 Fps the average as seen threads with people having Fps in 80s? I have everything at high and full and clutter up half way. Thanks again Almost forgot when dropping gbu once bomb is released it comes up with yellow box on MDF saying tps auto laze failed? But it still hits selected target. Happens most times but not all the time, just wondered what may cause this

hmmm i looked on there and could not find the skin i added will have to re try adding the skin to the bazar file i think it was called, followed instructions from a thread i found must be me and my webbed fingers making a mistake. i still cant find anything about these damn clouds they act so strange on my game. i have graphics at max and shadows, game is smooth as a video even with lots of action on the screen but when flying towards a cloud it does a weird jerking rolling action until you get real close then the outer part of the cloud vanishes and then the inner part of the cloud is smooth no juttering looks so damn real apart from this. could this be a prob that occured during download via steam anyone? i cant find a post anywhere about couds doing this :book: is it possible to turn clouds off?

sounds interesting i will take a look at the face track noir have seen a few threads of people using ps3 eye cam which i happen to have still in its box. i have almost finished setting up the dual mdf on ipad using touchIR, looks amazing. just sorting out the screen grabber bit. my question is once this is set up wont the images on my ipad showing the mdf display move on the ipad should i move the view around in cock pit on actual game? seems a bit of a pain in the ass. also RE skins for warthog i have downloaded and installed a few but where the hell in the game do i find them to use them :huh: seen a few threads which helped me get as far as installing them into correct folders but cant see a thread saying about selecting them in game.

I think I remember that rescue mission with the raft, always struggled with finding the sub that was the tough mission for me lol. I will take a look at the link and I prefer using the little thumb stick on flight stick to look around cock pit, not sure about the head tracker stuff. As for the clouds am wondering if it's a bug in latest patch? I assume since have game via steam they keep my games up to date automatically as showing vers 1.1.1.1 on warthog.

hi all, i have always liked combat sims i remember playing them even on my amiga500!! (f-18 interceptor) when i was 12 lol, i came across the video of black shark on utube which led me on to black shark 2 and a10c and now i have both i have lost many hours of my life in 2 weeks and i am loving it. the graphics are amazing and smooth like a video (thanks my mate for perfect beast of a pc build) now being new i have a couple of things i cant seem to find a direct answer for or any links to so a push in the direction or a link would be great. firstly how do i use my ipad 2 with the a10c and black shark 2 as have seen some great vids of people having virtual cockpit control on their ipads!?!? secondly i have my graphics right up and on a 50" 1080 HD tv the pic and graphics are smooth and amazing but whats with the clouds? when you get near them they become jerky and have a rolling effect then once your a little closer they become smooth and you just glide through them?? just wondwered what is was with the clouds as i like things to be perfect and if they cant be i like to find out why not anyway hope you can answer the above and im off to read some more threads on here
