  1. Losing my mind here, how can I invert my logitech pro rudder pedals, WITHOUT using DCS? this is for another game but I would like to be able to invert them some how, I mean I can open this up and switch the wires around but there has to be a software out there to do this.

     

    Trying Vjoy and Gremlin with no luck. Would be nice is windows controllers had an option to invert.

    No, it's not a campaign problem, it's a switchology problem. You need to call the tanker on the correct radio. You have 2 transmit buttons in the cockpit, if the back radio is set to the tanker but you call using the front raido, he won't respond.

    I literally put both radios to the tanker and still no go

    Besides, I‘m not really sure what you mean by that statement. What „option for Quad View“ do you mean? 
     

    If you have quadviews installed correctly, it should work also with Oculus Link and Oculus set as OXR runtime.

    Check out the QVFR instructions if you want to play with the settings file a little bit.

     

    This is what I see with safe mode off

     

    nulland with safe mode on you can see it shows the option to kill foveated rendering kill switch. It just looks as if its in safe mode its enabled and if its not in safe mode its not. 

    That said I do see it working with it not in safe mode, just dont have an option to turn it off I  guess? at least not on the fly

     

    also on a side note, no matter what resulution I se either in steam VR or render resolution in oculus per eye, nothing changes. I really hate doing settings for VR, its really a PITA EDIT** After reading ito this more, maybe its because Foveated takes over all these setttings? and if I want to change them I have to adjust the settings in the log file? 

     

    I read the instructions but its very confusing, if I want to increase my super sampling a little, since I'm pretty much maxing out my FPS , how exactly would I do that and whats the deal with making a new file

  4. So I installed this and holy crap it looks amazing! 

     

    That said I don't get my setting though,

    I only see the option for Quad view in OpenXR while its in safe mode, if I take it out of safe mode it no longer shows up, I also noticed it only works using steamVR and I usually just use oculus and set  the oculus app as the open XR runtime.

    I also always used FSR in openxr but it seems with this setup Im getting the same fps with it off, so I might as well leave it off?

     

    what am I doing wrong here

    I would first check if both of your approaches really run at the same resolution.

  6. been making oculus the main source of VR for ever but recently been having issues with it and went to steam VR, after this last update I noticed openXR with oculus is working again, but the quality is not nearly as good as steam VR. I assume 90% of people dont use steam vr and use the oculus openXR .

     

    but the quality just seems so much better with the Steam. Can someone care to share setting they are using I currently have these for both.

    yep took a dremel to mine as well. I obviously went too far and its gone lol.

     

    I kept going slow taking a little off at a time, and it was still not able to push through, so I kept taking more and more off, and now the detent is at the end of the axis, so its no good

  8. yea I get its supposed to be some sort of "override" but whenever I have that switch down or off, the missile literally just fires straight and never tracks 

     

    As for the BST case selected, yea that doesn't work. we tried this scenario hours worth and nope no go.

    Bandit closing. Jester has had him locked up locked up a long while. Just as the ring is about to expand. It expands for a fraction of a second and then collapses again.

    What is going on when that happens.

    Its bugged for sure, its why you barely see any tutorials on aim7 missiles or the radar lock in general.

    Have to remember that this is an old radar. It can’t lock planes up very well past 15-20 miles; especially small ones like a mig-21. 
     

    also helps if every now and then, hit the context button short twice to put Jester back in regular scan. Sometimes he needs the readjustment.

    i have experienced, multiple times, the same thing Casmo had on one of his. Jester reports “I got a good lock” and immediately follows with “I lost the lock”. Hit context (long)..”ok, I got a strong lock” then immediately “I lost the lock”. This will continue until the plane is really close.

    but these things always need to be tweaked. Until we all get a better understanding of how this works and what is a bug, keep interlock off, order Jester to lock it up once it’s around 12 miles away and fire when it’s around 6-8 miles. When using Aim-7E or Aim-7F, I launch two.

    when jester starts with his repeated lock drops or says he can’t find anything despite it being 10 miles off your nose, reset him with the context double tap and try again.

    i have mixed results with interlock on. When off- and when I shoot within 7-8 miles hot- I see about a 40% hit rate. Much more with the Aim-7m. So maybe use the aim-7m until you get used to it

    turning interlock off literally turns the seaker off the missile, so it will not track..

    We are not talking 15-20 miles, lol im not a noob, I'm very aware of an aim 7 missile and to be honest even though it claims 10 miles, its more like 2-3. they are not really BVR missiles

    I do hit the context button twice to put it back to regular scan, but how does that help if hes NOT locking the plane right in front of me.

    honestly, anyone saying they aren't having issues, I don't believe them. again, bunch of buddies and I are all experiencing the same exact thing

    literally cannot get a damn missile to shoot and if you do it goes no where. its BUGGED!

  11. I've seen enough videos now and it seems even these creators don't understand it. I have set up multiple scenarios with drone planes and all, I simply cannot get this plane to act right. I hit the contex button that Casmo just made a video on, and nope NO LOCK. If I do get a lock by hitting cage button or NWS acquisition button multiple times, I never get a shoot que.

     

    There has to be something wrong here. I have a bunch of friends with me and we are all just lost with this thing, part of me thinks the devs did this on purpose to recreate real issues, I hope not because thats silly..

     

    as it seems right now heaters are the only thing that work

    Don't count on that. As someone who's been here since the beginning I see fewer people today then I did before. I also have many buddies who literally do not touch this sim at all anymore. The servers are a stalemate, we want people to keep buying but ED does need to update this game asap! Needs core updates, infantry, vehicles ,dynamic, tons of stuff. I used to argue like many here how great dcs is, but I just don't anymore because people have a right to be upset when they pay for things.

     

    Truth is stop with the preorder stuff, no one would really have a right to complain. They still might get mad but like many said it's a game, yet when you give a company money weeks... Sorry months in advance, people SHOULD get upset!!
