I believe that enormous pot-like object at the two-o'clock position, taking away much of the pilot's vision, is a Soviet gun camera. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ6wysNZITY

I think the Module Manager is the weakest link in the game because I've had problems with it in the past. Black Shark 3 is installed and paid for. DCS sent me email confirmation for the order and payment confirmation as well. In the Module Manager Black Shark 2 is still listed in the same place it's been for years, but there is no link to update the version 3. It would have been better if they had gotten rid of the Module Manager and provided direct download links for every product. I don't want to go through this every time I give them money.

Does anybody use the X-55 HOTAS and if yes, have you managed to get it to work under Windows 11? I'm unable to install the drivers from Saitek. Windows Device Manager recognized the HOTAS, but the driver installation gets stuck after telling me to plug in HOTAS into the computer.

What type of chair for rudder pedals?
MonsterZero posted a topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
I'm getting back into rudder pedals after 20 years of not using them. Last time I used them, as silly as it sounds, I had a problem with the chair. Pressing the rudder pedals was causing the whole chair to swivel in the opposite direction! In other words, my whole body was spinning at the hips which was not the intended action. I need a more stable platform to sit on. Either a non-swivel chair, or a swivel chair with a lock, to stop the spinning when I engage the lock. What do you use? -

Look at the list of the games that support SLI.It's a very short list. Is it really worth it? My motherboard is SLI enabled, i don't even bother. -
New Machine: How Many FPS Needed?
MonsterZero replied to MonsterZero's topic in PC Hardware and Related Software
Nothing wrong with spending 4,000 Euros on a new system if it makes you happy and excited, but systems in that range will give you a small performance improvement which may not even be noticeable but it will come at a very high price in money. You will spend 100% more money, but will not get 100% performance improvement. Your performance improvement will be more like...10%? And this is the problem with very expensive systems. -
I like companies like Cyberpower because they perform tests on games and they list their machines with maximum frames per second achieved during the game test. So a higher-end machine will be something like "147 FPS". The 147 FPS machine will be around $1,500, depending on the sales they have. How many FPS do I need to play a modern sim like DCS World, IL-2 V2, or Prepar 3D, or X-Plane 10? My current PC is a custom, I built it form parts 5 years ago. I won't build a custom again because ordering the parts was just as expensive as purchasing a complete system so trying to save money by building your own is a blind alley in my opinion.

Does anybody have a link to good tutorials where I can study how to use the Su-27 and Mig-29 radar systems correctly? Does the game come with Su-27 and Mig-29 tutorials? I've watched some YouTube videos on Mig-21BIS and they taught me how to operate the aircraft.

IMPORTANT MiG-21bis StarForce PATCH - MARCH 2017
MonsterZero replied to Dolphin887's topic in MiG-21Bis
Another attempt, another fail. This is what I do. Launch DCS world and disable the Mig-21BIS module under the modules tab Run the reg cleaner program. It informs me it "added new value" to the registry or something. I thought it was supposed to remove a value but oh well I restart the computer I launch DCS World I enable Mig-21 BIS module I restart the game I get the following error: Can anybody out there help me? I love the module (when it works) -
IMPORTANT MiG-21bis StarForce PATCH - APRIL 2017
MonsterZero replied to Dolphin887's topic in MiG-21Bis
THE PDF instructions don't work. You cannon "update the product" if it's already updated to the latest version. The update process is automatic every time I launch the game. I don't have the ability to update anything. Also, I cannot deactivate the license. It's giving me the registry integrity error. This is insane. How can the developers entrust their software to this "Starfoce" company? I thought they've caused massive problems in the past. There was a big problem involving Silent Hunter III the submarine sim. Star Force almost ruined the Silent Hunter. People were uninstalling the game just to purge Star Force from their system.
