Lonewolf, your exact problem happened to me as well, I couldn't connect to the master server or to the DCS website, but could connect to the forum. Call your ISP, mine blocked the entire DCS site from their system, reasons unknown, but my problem was fixed by my ISP.

Yes, JTRS is always on when we have this issue. Thats whats frustrating us so much as we do nothing different from mission to mission, but some missions we have no identifiers for each others plane. I'm somewhat confident that we are doing something wrong, or different when starting the plane perhaps, but geez I sure dont know what it is. Not yet anyway.

Good day all, my brother and I have been flying the A10C for about a year now and have learned so much, and we learn something new every time we fly, but there is one item that I cannot find the answer to, we need some guidance please. In most missions we fly, there is a plane identifier on our TAD for our planes, and then in some missions there is not a symbol for each others plane at all, we can see the symbols for the AI planes, but not each other. I have fooled around with the Mission Editor to see if I could find the difference in the missions that have them and the ones that don't but have had no luck, and through our many hours of video watching and searching, still no answer. Any help would greatly be appreciated for getting our plane id's to work once we start our planes and it isn't present, and/or setting it up in the mission editor so it will automatically show up for each others planes if that's possible.

yes, perhaps your right, but I have been patient for 3 days, I thought that was an unusual amount of time for maintenance. And all the while, my flying friends can all connect, I was just curious if it may be a local issue that I'm not aware of and need to research. I'll try to connect again tonight and see what happens, but so far, its been 3 days with no connection to the server or even the website from my PC. I'm beginning to think it must be a local issue because I can connect from work just fine, but haven't a clue what it might be.

I haven't made any changes in my system or game install and cannot find any problems with my log in info, PC system, game, etc, it's all updated and has been working perfectly until the server maintenance this week, now I can't connect to the multiplayer server or the main DCS website. Any help or information would be appreciated.

Same problem happen to us last night when attempting to fly in multiplayer mode. 3 of us updated our sim last night and set up a server like always before, but it kept crashing after about 2 minutes or so, only in multiplayer though.

Sounds like your running a setting that see's all 3 monitors. What works for me is to run all 3 monitors as 1 in my eyefinity group. My desktop resolution is 5760x1080 without bezel adjustment, and the same in the game with the added adjustment below, Ck out the thread below for additional settings that will pull it all together for you, along with a 1 monitor setting and this in game adjustment, everything is good. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=84270

Pilot head and helmet textures I am new to the mission builder in DCS and have many questions, today I'd like to ask about the pilot's head and helmet. I noticed some of the plane description files use the Tuskegee head with a modern helmet, browsing thru the world texture files I found several different heads, suits and an old WW2 leather helmet. First question: I'd like to use the leather helmet in the missions I'm working on, how is that accomplished? I am also interested in changing the pilots head and suit, once my dds file is created, is the Bazar\World\textures\P-51D directory the correct location to drop my files, I also noticed that all the texture folders are compressed. If there is a thread that discusses these and other texture modifications please direct me to it, I've searched the forums, but man there is a lot to look thru, I'm sure I missed it somewhere. I have misplaced my activation confirmation email and cannot find any listing on the DCS website of my purchase's. I have tried all the links including the methods in this thread http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=57556 These instructions don't work, the links just take me back to the download pages I can't find any record of my purchase or my activation key, what should I do to get these records? Well Nate, with the few minutes that I had to spend with it tonight, it seem to work. I'll fly a few missions tomorrow and test everything and make sure there are no issues.

I'm in the process of installing the new release, I saved my joystick and keyboard config files before I deleted my saved games. Once the 1.2.1 version is installed, instead of re-configuring everything, I'd like to just paste my old config files into the new version if that's possible, that would save a bunch of time. My question is, will my old config files from 1.2.0 be compatible with the new version? Or will I just have to re-configure everything?

I decided to download all files again from a different server, uninstalled the game including deleting the Saved Game files, reloaded and all is well! In fact, I've noticed several things that are different. Thanks again. I'm glad it was simple.

Hello, noob here, I'm a flight sim enthusiast from way back with Janes, EAW, Microsoft, IL-2 and more but I'm a newbie in the DCS world. This weekend I loaded DCS World and the P-51 mod. I have to say it's fantastic and I've been enjoying it for the past few days. But the game will lock up and crash intermittently and has no pattern to it at all. I've tried several video adjustments with no luck. I've made sure that I have nothing extra running in the background as well. The game runs good and smooth and performs well until the random lock up. I currently have iRacing and IL-2 Cliffs of Dover installed and have no issues with either one of them. I'm running an I5 Intel quad core 2500K, 16gigs of ram, 2 6870 video cards in crossfire configuration with 3 Samsung 24" monitors. However, I am not running the latest video driver's which I guess will be my next change in hopes of resolving this issue. I've done some searching on the forum here and found issues discussed with the drivers and Radeon cards, but I haven't found any discussions of lockup and game crashing issues. If there are any suggestions or know fixes they would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Lil' REB Thought I would add that my operating system is Windows 7 64bit Home edition I also loaded the game in the default location of the Program File's directory and not the Program FilesX86 directory, could that possibly be an issue?
