Ok, 4 files is right... my #2.bin is in 2 parts... I'll redownload. W When you say uninstall EVERYTHING, all I have is DCS in my programs (Control panel, Win7). Yes, somewhere there is access to P51 and A10, but it's not in control panel/programs.... and I don't see it on my hard drive. Thanks....

Ok, sounds good... I'll uninstall DCS world then. I'll make a copy of that folder just to be sure about my joystick stuff. I have already downloaded dcs, A-10 and P-51 v 1.2.3.10201_147.XXX One file each for P51 and A10... Plus 5 files for DCS world. So with this, I should uninstall DCS world and then reinstall? Then it will ask about A10 and P51 and I point the installer to it and it installs the NEW files? Then copy my saved joystick directory over to the new DCS same directory and I'm done... is this right? Thanks so much for the fast and helpful responses...

You mean the whole thing or the 1.2.3 patches....? I don't think it'd be a problem but I don't want to use up one of my registrations either... plus my keyboard is custom for my joystick.

I don't have this file on my computer... I don't have a link in the start menu and I cannot find a place to download this file. Can someone point me to a link where I can download this file? I have all the 1.2.3 files ready to go but cannot install them.... get an error message that says "repair" .... you installation. No link to do it and no updater.exe on my computer and certainly not in the bin diretory. Any help for a semi literate gamer? I have DCS 1.2.0.3205 installed and A-10 and P-51 modules. Thanks, John

Ok done Thanks again, Looks like I'm reinstalled and I''m gonna try to run A-10 and setup my joystick... and see if my missions run. Then to Multi player. Thanks, Take care. John

Thanks THanks ! I will try to save my joystick stuff but it's not gone well in the past and a mission or 2 I'll try to copy them back into the directories after. Thanks again... BTW I live in Annapolis... we're almost neighbors. Regards, John

Replies Wow, that was fast. To be clear... I must uninstall DCS World and also uninstall Both P51 and DCS A-10?? Is that correct? Then I download (again) the newest installs of P-51 and A-10 and reinstall them. Will this count as one of my 10 installs? Thanks for the fast response!! Regards, John

Hi guys, I have been flying DCS for a while now, mostly A-10 and now some P-51. Hello to all! I have an issue and need some help/answers. My problem is this... I start A-10 and it shows 1.1.1.1 then to start P-51 the icon says DCS World? OK, I hit it and it says 1.1.2.1... When I go to A-10 MultiPlayer there are only 1 or 2 servers and I can't see a DCS world version so I'm not sure If I'm up to date. Am I using 1.1.2.1 in A-10 as well (DCS world)?? Is the reason there are so few servers because I'm not running 1.2? Do I need to move to 1.2 or stay with what I have (I am thinking there are more servers and I'm missing out on some MP flying? Is this true?) Thanks, John
