  1. I am also having this issue and was going to do a full reinstall/redownload at some point but seeing this doesnt work at all or play nicely with FC3 I think wasting my limited internet speed/quota is not worth it. Don't suppose anyone has any other ideas?
  2. I hope it is not too late to jump in on this thread. I am having the same issue since last week. I only got a chance to try some things to fix it on the weekend. My error only says Invalid username/password which is obviously not the case when it works on the website. I have reset my password (and am definitely able to log into the website after this) and disabled my firewall of both windows and my AV (Kaspersky) As far as I am concerned that should be the only things affecting this issue. I am hesitant to open ports 80 and 443 as this should in no way be required. I have however tested without success. I have already done a repair of the game. the only other thing I can think of is a fresh download which I would like to avoid if possible.
  3. Hey guys, Don't get to post here much but just thought I would share something about my new Saitek X-55 Rhino joystick that may help others. I initially had issues mapping the throttle or getting it to work. I then realized due to it being totally seperate to the joystick (different USB cable) that it has its own X Axis (for left throttle) and Y Axis (for right throttle) instead of Joy_Z. I think this is worth noting for those who came from a previous joystick set up that did not have a dual throttle capability. (like me) Sadly it took me a while to work out.
  4. I found that learning flying was an absolute basic then once perfected moved on to other systems and then weapons. You cant just jump in unless you follow the quick start guide and just start already airbourne in Easy mode.
  5. I will have a play around with the curves tommorow. I have altered speed a little already it doesnt quite fix my annoyance but the curves might. Also contacts in my eyes is definately not something I want.
  6. I have had my TrackIR for a while and enjoyed using it in DCS however since I have got glasses ive noticed that it is much harder for me to look down to some of the panels just to the left or right of me. This may sound petty but even with the sensitivity up higher it still feels like I have to strain my neck alot just to look. Anyway what I want to know is there a way to run DCS World without it disabling the freelook with TIR enabled? Freelook would allow me to look far to the left or right without hurting my neck. Also I am considering buying glasses frames that have more surface area but would rather not have to do that just for TIR. I did a quick search of the forum and found no reference to this. Any ideas? Thanks in advance, InAUGral.
  7. All the more reason to pin it so people don't keep asking this.
  8. Why do you need an almost decade old game to get a new module for DCS? This seems somewhat silly to me. Anyway I have a disc for Lock on lying around but I have no key with it does that matter? I honestly don't remember if it had a key to begin with. EDIT: Also this should be stickied imo as it has clarifications of what to do in regards to this topic.
