got my cd key from steam and i installed the stand alone dcs world , but every time i try to run it i get "DCS has stopped working a problem caused the program to stop working correctly, Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available" any clues running Win 8.

thats what everyone is thinking "i hope" "i think" nobody knows cuz steam has their head up their a*s, again. is the multiplayer any fun? :pilotfly: i want to be an ace:thumbup:

Dude your missing the point:doh: its not the single player game, its all about the multiplayer. all these new buyers/players from steam its all about killing your buddy, not playing the stupid computer on some pirate cd/download, its steam they know who we are, you cant pirate anything from them ....so whats the problem? until someone from ED says "oh thanks that will be fixed by july of 2014" at least i know whats up, its not a mystery. but this silent treatment is whats killing me. :pilotfly: this game better have a kick ass multiplayer experience :smilewink:

steam will not allow anyone to sale/give/trade an old account or software they bought from steam, to an other person.:( btw i've been waiting since Saturday the 29th:pilotfly:
