  1. I'll snap some pics when I get home, really happy with both the design and the quality of the prints! Do you happen to know the part number for the plastic gardena nut? Thanks!
  2. So the tailpiece and paddle arrived. Interestingly the paddle worked in my FLCS grip without modification, tailpiece fit perfectly too. You know what would be useful and an instant purchase from me? A replacement nut for the tailpiece, I'm using a Gardena nut, but the weight reduction from plastic would be really useful in my setup (modified Force Feedback 2, so the lighter, the better).

I see, so we're only getting the old one, not bad.
  4. That was probably me, I ordered the tailpiece and the lever, fully understanding that they are beta products. I'll let you know how they work out.

Thanks for the update, loving the M2000 so far, can't wait to see how it shapes up. Was wondering, is the Eclaire-M on the development roadmap? It's a modular system of 6 cartridge dispenser modules (CDM), that allows for up to 48 additional flares, or 108 more chaff (or a combination, flare CDM = 8 cartridges, chaff CDM = 18 cartridges). It's also compatible with all M2K variants. Considering the Spirale's limited number of flares, the extra 48 is going to be pretty useful in a furball! To give an example of it's modularity here is the MBDA datasheet http://www.mbda-systems.com/?action=force-download-attachment&attachment_id=5265 This image shows an Eclair-M with 2x flare CDM and 4x chaff CDM (16 flares, 72 chaff). You can see at the bottom of the Spirale datasheet an example of a Spirale/Eclair-M CDM off the aircraft; http://www.mbda-systems.com/?action=force-download-attachment&attachment_id=5295
  6. Quick question, in addition to the built in Spirale countermeasure system, will we be able to use the Eclair-M? PS, module looks amazing, super excited!
  7. Judging by that poll, I'm not the only one who will be.
  8. I'm not interested in an internet cat-fight. Just stating my opinion on what I feel is a major problem with DCS, and something that will affect my future purchasing decisions.
  9. Reactivated long-forgotten, idle account. Posted edited. Either way, I just idle here for news and mods, but this issue is important to me.
  10. Just reset my password on an idle account to throw my vote in; this is a major problem that I hope will be considered for EDGE. I've purchased 2 WWII, and 2 Korean War era modules so far, and while they're a blast to fly circuits and aerobatics in, they're terrible for combat because of this issue. There are a lot more gunfighters on the horizon that I'm excited to fly, but I doubt I'll be buying any more until this is resolved.
  11. This is the single worst forum on the internet. I have no idea why ED tolerates such an awful 'community'.
