Same problem here - the update succeeded (after I freed up space on the SDD for the 55GB DL!!!) but then all of my authorizations were gone (maps, planes and missions). Ouch. Then it goes to a black screen, with 0% CPU utilization. BTW no problem with the release version and the authorizations dcs.log autoupdate_log.txt

I had to move other game installations to a different disk to free up space. Apparently, the downloaded file is huge, but it must overwrite a lot of existing files, because I have plenty of space after the installation. BUT WARNING - all my authorizations got wiped out (every single one) and I haven't gotten into the DCS beta yet.
