Hello Comunity,
i have written a small tutorial to use the Cougar Microstick as a axis, but i have a small problem with the LockOn Configuration.
But first the HowTo:
--- HOWTO -----------------------------------------------------------
I tried a lot of using the microstick as axis but I got no result.
Today a friend told me that I can easily switch the axis, so that the toe-breake-axis will disable and the microstick-axis will enable. Ok I googled and tried and….
It would happen: The Microstick is used as axis :)
How? Very easy:
1. Open the HOTAS-Control Panel
2. Re-Set the Microstick-X Axis to another Axis (in my example 6)
3. Re-Set the Microstick-Y Axis to another Axis (in my example 8)
4. Check the „Apply enable/disable Windows axes states“
5. Apply
The device must reset and… done!
Now you can use the microstick axis in your game

P.S.: many thanks to burnout for the tip

Okay now my problem:
The axis will be show'n like the picture above. When i set the:
"TDS slew horzontal" to Rotator2 and the
"TDS slew vertivcal" to Rotator1 it looks first okay
but in flight (expl. A-10) the radar-cursor will not be moved like a mouse (expl. MicrostickX moves Radar cursor. When i stop using the microstick the radar cursor stopped at the current position.)
Every time when i stoped using the microstick, the radarsursor jumps into the center-position. It is very hard to designate a target.
Can you help me to fix this? Or is there any trick? Or should it be?
thanks for answering
