  1. Like I said above. You have a test switch left of the annunciator panel down between the pilots seats. You can left click the test switch to illuminate all caution lights (except master caution which is located elsewhere) or you can right click it to reset. The right click once you finished your start sequence seems to remove the master caution. Again this should be either told to us in the training cold start if this is realistic, or corrected if unrealistic. bottom line is you can click it :)
  2. Hi all I'm simply reporting all the bugs I have found in the UH-1H so far. Here it is: *Training, cold start procedure is not complete. When you try to get through the procedure first the ignition seq is very long and we're not sure what to do. Sitting it out fixes the problem but maybe we could be told to wait until engine stabilize or something, possibly have the trainer tell us to monitor specific engine temperature gauges or something after we hit the ignition. Secondly in the cold start training mission still. during the "engine normal power" section we're told to go full throttle with page up. And wait till we get x and y values on an instrument. Well we get x and y values but then nothing happens no matter how long you wait. What you don't know is that you need to also press ctrl page up to increase the gov. then it says that's it for the training. Yet the master caution and IFF lights are still lit... how can the training say ready for take/off with the master caution on -_-... Turns out for the caution a simple reset with the "test" switch next to the anunciator panels solves the job. Wether it's realistic or not it should be told in the training I feel. *The auto start seq also does not get rid of the master caution alarm. Maybe it should. *The ignition process engages intense vibrations that are no where to seen on youtube videos of huey start up. *Repair requests on my end of the game does not work. "player:repair" appears top left, no response no countdown nothing. My friend get's the message across. But at the end of the countdown his helo explodes. He was able to reproduce the results numerous times. *I have landed my helicopter on a non-moving aircraft carrier. On most parts it works no problem. But if you land on the areas defined by red markings (I think they're elevators to get the planes outside from the cargo bay). The helo goes through it. Now don't get me wrong, I know it's still beta, it just came out and it's normal to have bugs in it. Personnally I enjoy it so far. I just wanted to report the bugs that I did find so far.
  3. My friend discovered the issue so it's been checked, double checked and triple checked :P One noticeable similarity is that we all run nvidia cards not sure this is relevent xD... anyways just wanted the right people to know is this the right way to do it xD ?
  4. The latest patch made something to the P-51 mirror. Now we can't seem to be able to mask it anymore by clicking on it. It deploys fine but once it is... the only way to remove it is to go to the options and uncheck it. Just wanted to report it not sure this is the right place.
  5. I say solution.. it's still not 100% sure at this point nor is it gonna make it work all the time.. or even repair the old ones. But hear me out: -I have noticed that. only the first track of the first server you joined/created is gonna work. -Any reset at all is gonna corrupt the track. -if you log out of a server then join a new one, it's gonna bug. -It happens sometimes that a track is going to bug even after take off :( and all was well. (This one track corrupted after 15 mins in was on a random server) -Not sure this works if you join a server which is out of your friends' group But finally I've managed to get tracks going recently. I just restart the computer (along with the people involved). We created a fresh server, wingmen joined... and we flew... and never ever reloaded a mission. and so what if the track lasts one hour. at least it works. I did that tonight first track worked.. then I went on with a friend on another game (not saying it's BF3... not saying it ain't XD) for a couple hours.. then we went back to DCS and first track worked. (only track). Same occured tuesday and friday so it seems pretty conclussive. Feel free to try but again if you join a random server with random people (not their first mission from game start) I am not sure how it will go in that particular situation. Cheers do give feedback I'm interested in knowing if this solves for you guys as well.
  6. oh... :( yeah actually need the real track then. the aim also is to make videos out of our flights too.
  7. I'm interested. is that a third party software?
  8. So Pegazus (my left wingman from the same aerobatic team) has forgot to precise a couple informations: What we have tried so far: Have the host's tracks... Have the wingmen's tracks... have players quite before the host end the server. What happens: One third to half of the tracks are what actually happened... the rest show complete fiction and not at all what was going on. for example: - instead of having 3 P-51s line up for a take off the other 2 planes (other than you) will line up just fine while your own plane will stay on the taxiway (which differed from the actual "flight") then proceed to crash on the grass ahead resulting in only 2 planes out of the three in the air in the track. This is the most common bug. Looking at the same track but from an other guy, it is again the other two planes doing what they actually did... but again the plane which creates the track will not line up and crash on take off. This is what happens most often when a track fails. - During a maneuver I was doing a loop. but instead of completing the loop my plane stopped pulling up (in the track only) going straight down and crash.. - Last one we had. Today's flight Pegazus accidentally hit his prop on my empennage (no crash no visible damage in the flight recording the track) but in the track that "kiss" between the planes was represented as an actual crash, which again differed to the actual events :(... Any help is appreciated thanks!
  9. Thanks! shamefully I created another topic cause I missed that one -_-.... you sir deserve a medal :)
  10. Hi all I'm new to DCS world. And my friend asked me to join him in this sim.. but I've been having a couple issues ranging from terrible performances (though my laptop has some power especially concidering how the game looks) which I don't have on Cliffs of Dover, to other glitches. And most importantly... I can see the plane's insides from every angles except directly up or down wether I m using the P51 or the Su25T. Here's my laptop's specifications: Alienware m17x R3: Intel® Core™ i7 2760QM, Kingston 8GB DDR3 1600MHz, 1.5GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M, 17.3-inch WideHD+ 1600 x 900 60Hz WLED, Win7 pro 64bit, Crucial M4 256GB ©, 500GB 7200rpm (D) Yes, I am on 314.07 drivers for nvidia. Any help is appreciated :( thanks in advance! EDIT: SOLVED !!! http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98876 I shamefully missed that thread -_- .... as it turns out the intel wanted to go ahead and run the game instead of the nvidia. game seems to run more than fine now :)
