Left throttle not functioning - TM Warthog HOTAS
Just got this Warthog hotas and I'm a real beginner with it, and with the A10c game.
Please point me to the right forum/thread if one is out there that answers my question.
I've searched for a similar question in these forums but found nothing. I must not be
searching very well because I'm sure questions like mine must have been asked before.
I'm not using any T.A.R.G.E.T. software profile, etc. In DCS A-10, I can jump into
"Instant action" or "quick mission builder" and the right throttle works just fine --
it moves in the in-game virtual cockpit, and the instrument dials move appropriately
in the virtual dash for the right throttle. But nothing moves when I operate the left
throttle. Same thing happens on the ramp when I step through the startup sequence.
Options -> Controls -> Layer: A-10C Sim, AXIS Commands, I multiple-click on the
"Throttle Left" box under the "Throttle-HOTAS Warthog" column to get the pop-up
"Add Assignment Panel". I move the left throttle forward and back ---> nothing
happens. But if I move the right throttle "JOY_Z" appears in the "Key/Button" cell.
Of course, "Current assignment" also shows "Throttle Right" at that point.
Hope this does not mean that I've got a bad hotas throttle that needs repairs.
