Video settings: Unfortunately my game is in German so you might have to guess or just ask me what some settings are called in English.

I will try to post screenshots of my video settings if it helps. I'm not running any mod that I am aware of. Only the official modules but I doubt those are the mods you are talking about.

Hi, when trying to dogfight a Mig15 in a F86 around Batumi my FPS drops to 8 and it stays there until I'm dead. I did follow the performance guide in this forum to the letter. No effect. My system is quite old: Intel I7 2600K@3.4GHz MSI TwinFrozr 570 GTX 16GB RAM Win7 Is this to be expected with my system? Is there anything I can do apart from whats in the performance guide without having to spend thousands of bucks (which I don't have anyways)? Icarus1976

Hey there, DCS World has imo the best A\C ever made in the history of flight sims. :thumbup: However, I miss some big cargo planes and such. Like the C160\130. Is there any chance we will see some of these in the future and with the quality of a BS2.0 or Huey or Mi-8? I'm not much for blowing stuff up in campaigns, simply because I'm too noob for this kinda hustle. Therefore, I would really love flying a big plane from A to B. Just for the sake of flying. Ok, here's what I did. Base is Kobuleti and even when I change the bullseye (which I believe to be the marker for what side you're on) and put the factions to the according side (red in my case) it really doesn't matter. To make it short, the country of my choice is in the right color and the bullseye set directly on the Kobuleti Base. No effect. Then again, I am a total noob with the mission editor. :music_whistling:

I think I found the solution. It works when in the editor I choose USA as a side, but not for Germany. Very strange...:music_whistling:

Well, yes. Same base. And even after restarting DCS World it does not work. I usually fly in mission editor. If that means anything.

Hi everyone, couldn't find anything related to my issue in the search and I went over the first 10 pages of this forum. Here's my problem, if anyone had this, please help me out. In the last flash sale (July 31st) I got the Sabre along with the 109 K4. Everything went well in the first try of both planes. But now when I'm trying to get ground power nobody is responding anymore. My first landing didn't go too well, so I thought maybe the chief is mad at me. ;) I'm having the same problem with the K4 which makes me believe this might be a DCS World issue? Haven't tried any other plane or helo for this. Help?! Please! Icarus1976

Thanks Flagrum. I just found out that when I delete the headtracker category in the settings it works flawlessly. That makes perfect sense then. Thank you again. I'll be flying now...and probably crashing very soon. Business as usual for me in the DCS World. ;)

Hi, first let me apologize for abusing this forum. I'm not here very often and also only fly in DCS occasionally. My biggest issue with DCS World is, whenever I feel like flying around in a chopper. I pretty much get slapped in the face because ALT+C isn't working for me. Kinda spoils the fun for me, since I'm depending on this feature a lot. So, the problem I'm having is this. When activating ALT+C and trying to move the mouse to look around in the cockpit the view immediately snaps back to center, which makes it impossible to look around. What can I do to fix this? Please help. I need to fly. Now! :pilotfly: P.S. I noticed that DCS recognizes game controllers which are pretty much useless in a flight sim, such as G25 steering wheel or Fanatec pedals. Whereas the pedals might be useful for some the G25 sure is not. Why is DCS even bothered to list a steering wheel?

:helpsmilie: Is there a possibility to change this myself? In a .cfg file maybe? I did look through the files but most of them are .lua and there are no ranks in any of the .cfg files. Maybe I missed it.

Hello everybody, let me be honest with you. I wanted to get the DCS stuff for a long time, but I was so intimidated by its complexity. So recently I had the opportunity to get my hands on the Black Shark and the A10 in one package for almost no money. I regret not buying it for the full price. From now on, I promise that I will support you guys at Eagle Dynamics properly. Well, as far as my budget allows it anyway. ;) I did buy the P51 at the full price for a start. Next will be the Black Shark 2. Now for the introduction part. My name is Stefan aka Racefreak1976 aka Icarus1976 aka DrrtyOldMan1976. Since I was a kid (and that is quite some time ago) I was hooked with Flightsims. My first was F/A-18 Interceptor on the good old Commodore Amiga. Until now, I have never played any Helicopter games/sims. The DCS series made me want to know as much about Helis as I can possibly find out. I think that's enough for now, Icarus1976
