Hi,
I have the same issue with the radios in the campaign.
There is no response from ATC (Kobuleti 133.0 AM), but in my case the wingman is responding to my orders.
IIRC it worked before, but haven't played the campaign in a while... Fingers crossed for an easy fix

No. But I have the same issue with extremly dark mfds on the second screen. Hopefully this will be sorted out at some point.
I turned of the mfds in the cockpit so I can switch to day mode on the mfds. It helps but only if the mfds on the first screen are off. You can do it via lua edit. Just search the forum

As our DCS water world is growing, I recognize more and more that we lack some naval AI units.
I wish for more naval AI units from Nato partners, would be cool to operate the SC Module in an multi national carrier group.
And it would be really cool to have all the vessels included in a carrier group such as a support vessel and a submarine.
Lets see...

I know the focus was clearly on the SC module with today's update but was there any progress with losing the engine sound out of a sudden?
I saw the patch notes from today and it was not mentioned. As stated absolutely no problem for me, just what to know if you guys had a chance to look into it?
I bought the Sabre years ago and until the Yalu campaign, it was not of interest to me and now it's just annoying to not be able to enjoy this old bird.

I'm pretty sure the performance will increase in the future, as we all running an early access version in an open beta environment....;)

I observed that you can actually change the brightness in the mfcds, but it will only tune the green text displayed. The map brightness doesn't change, at least for me...
Also the mfcds reflects on the canopy too bright during night time. Maybe its just me

It also happens to me.
Happend during longer flights without any reason.
30-40min than the sound dissapears. Radio, etc. still works.

Just open the editor, place the carriers on the map. Then try different weather scenarios and you should have your answer in a few minutes ;)

Having the Same issue here.
In the blue nose Bastards campaign while escorting the Bomber formations the frames drop to single Digits.
The option with reducing units doesn't help, the only way to get back to normal frames is to turn of the wake effect.
I think its just the amount of units, because in a Single dogfight the effect ist working pretty good.
But it would be great to have big formations and the effect working smooth.

I think that the F-14 will also be early acess like all the other modules when it's releases. So don't expect that you get an full working module....
The F-18 is ahead in development and i don't think that the F-14 will be completet faster.
For me it's very simple because I will buy both

For now you can use the brightness and contrast Buttons in the mfds.
I think its affected by the light issues right now....
Edit: I have also exported the mfds to an external Monitor they are looking quite good

Maybe you are doing something wrong, or to double check search for an Tutorial how to manual update.
It works like Revelation wrote.... I also did it in the past and it worked

I can report nearly the same for my system. So going for an SSD shouldn't be the worst idea:smilewink:

Yeah, just did a test flight after the update to 2.5.1 an everything was aligned properly

Spotting targets in forest areas at Caucasus 2.5 is quite a pain...:(
Hopefully this is on the list for a update in the near future, because i am stuck in a mission where all the enemys hide under the trees in a forest:pilotfly:

I think ED will take care off all the graphic issues related to the switch to 2.5 and in the next months we can enjoy all the modules as they should be :pilotfly:
But I would like to see an graphic update of the A-10 to match the newer modules.
That would be really awesome:thumbup:

To be honest, I havnt read the complete Thread, so im sorry if this was already posted.
I would like to see some transport modules in general. Dcs could have some more features in that direction.
C-47 Dakota for example
But we need some work on animations etc before that. Like paratroopers jumping out of the plane, droping supplies or things like that.

You can also create a new partition, having c:/ and d:/ on the same disk.
My Configuration looks like that,
C:/ OS on a SSD (128GB),
D:/ only DCS on a SSD (250GB)
E:/ FlightSim and Games on a SSD
F:/ a HDD for the downloads and backups
What I learned is that its always the best to have the Operating System on its own Drive

Hi Baltic, thanks for looking in tonthe issue. Das to hear, but fair enough you tried to solve it.
I hope it will geht fixed Dome time in the future. Your campaigns are absolutely stunning!
