Thanks for info and photos. My problem was also the big spring to center the pedals, which made it practically impossible to push the pedals all the way forward effortless (with no tension applied). So removed that one too, and what a nice difference it made. No need for a rubber band.

Reset all settings After logging around 8 hours of flight time, 350 landings, 48 deaths, spring removed from HOTAS Warthog i finally clicked "reset" in the axis tune panel for the flightstick :joystick: Can even land on the Oliver Hazzars Perry now, when its cruising speed is 20 kts. Wish the view to the side is not tilted by default, but horizontal like in the co-pilot's seat. I know the LUA. Mod mentioned somewhere to fix the problem.

I find it easier to hover and land with the Hotas Warthog between my legs. Wish it did not center by itself. And landing in F3 view, gives me a better feeling of the flight attitude and closeness to ground. Maybe because of the shadow. Anybody with same preferations ? Crashing now is history. Did They mess too much with the flightmodel to make it more approachable ? Hope not and think not, but have to ask! Thanks

Huey stable like KA-50 I had a lot of problems controlling the Huey at slow speed, hover and landing with my Thrustmaster HOTAS, but after adjusting the axis Y-saturation to 40-50 in both cyclic pitch/roll, it actually feels like the KA-50. With more sticktime you can raise the values back to 100, but as a starting point you will get a fairly stable heli. Of course you need to trim a lot as the Huey picks up speed due to the limited input values. Btw I set the value for saitek pro flight rudder to X-saturation 70. Hope it makes sense.

Thanks Phantom, Btw have mapped my hotas in DCS controller options, but would like to hear different opinions reg. choice of mapping mode. Mapped my hotas for the KA-50 long time ago in DCS, and after updates i need to redo that. Somehow it got reset. Sidenote: KA-50 does not feel realistic anymore after flying the Huey. Or do you just forget how it was the first time with that particular FM ?

To map and configure your HOTAS for the HUEY, would you do it in TARGET software, or do it in the DCS options panel. Pros and cons of the different methods please. Thank you.
