  1. Hi Mike, I think you missed the "equalization" effect or the bandpass effect. Don't really know what it is called. However its's the effect of the limited frequencies in the speach spectrum actually getting transmitted and recieved. Result is what is heard when using a typical VHF radio, The top and bottom frequencies are cut off. Probably by using a band pass filter. Like this, what I use in Audacity when I make voiceovers for DCS missions. It would be really great to have this in Aries and I hope you will include it soon. Keep up the good work.:)
  2. Ok, tnx, had missed that. Hope for that hotfix today then:)
  3. After some own testing it appears that If you have a trigger which refers to a flyable client air unit like ..group in zone Hawg 1-1, zone x, flag on xx, AND nobody occupies that flyable slot when unpausing, the game will crash. If that slot is occupied it will start! This is what I found out just now, however I have not tested with other people in multi player environment yet. It could also be several other bugs but I think this is one.
  4. I have major problems as well. It seems like simple missions without triggers are ok. More complex missions, which worked with 1.2.4, crashes at startup as described earlier. If you test them in the mission editor you can see som really strange activity in the debriefing. Units on the same side shooting on friendly troops, units you dont recognize shooting at friendly units. Even ground units taking off??? Also one interesting thing is the times are all screwed upp. In the debriefing I have set the start time to 17:00 but the debriefing states something shooting at 12:xx? ANd on the other mission when it should start 12:00 it starts 06:00!? I think something really strange going on here. Some screen shoots on the mission debriefing Appreciate the help.
  5. Great, I tested it now as you said and I got it to work. :) How does the standalone version work?
  6. :) Sorry for being unclear. I have used the Aries radio for DCS (http://ariescon.com/index1.html). And the funny thing is it was working with everything except Combined arms vehicles. I heard them when I was in a CA vihecle but the other guys did not hear me. Everything appeared to look correct in TS with frequencies, at least from what I could see. Ok, which files do you want to have? Thanks for taking the time trying to solve this, I appreciate it:thumbup: Regards Agaton
  7. Well I was only using the Aries flight radio mod and not the Gossip box. I thought I could use Aries FR since the overlay was on when I was GC. Do I have to use Gossip box for ground units? I have PTT on my HOTAS Warthog and it was working when I was in a plane. All airbone radios hear eachother. I see the activated freq. on both the other guys and myself as well. Regards Agaton.
  8. Hi Mike, We have tested to talk to a ground commander/game master now twice on our community. Unfortunately we don´t get it to work. After hours of testing, trial and error we gave it up and just used TS3 instead. The problem is that I hear the other guys on the correct frequencies but the don´t hear me at all. (I was the GC) Does Aries work for GC as it is now? If it does (which I thought it did) what could be the problem. I have tested it with A10C, Huey and KA 50 and they all work as it should. Any Ideas?
  9. My pleasure! :) Just let me know if you want to have the edited versions. I isolated the Albecom "open" squelch and the Icom "close" squelch. I going to use them in a mission I currently working on. Sounds good togeather.
  10. Well for what is worth, here are two different VHF radio squelch clicks I just recorded from my VHFs. They are recorded in Audacity in 44100 HZ sample freq. and via a Samson microphone. However the output was made from the internal speaker/mic. Don´t know how different it will sound in a real headset? However I think they sound quite ok. Maybe something to start with? I give them to you if you want them. My favorite is the Icom squelch. In the Albecom squelch you can hear when the auto squelch is opening as well. On the Icom it is more or less absent. Since I recorded from open to close some editing has to be done to separate open/close of the auto squelch as well as some noise in between. 11. Thanks, I am happy to hear that! The future looks good for DCS lovers! Keep it coming! /Agaton www.masterarms.se
  12. Hi and thanks for the nice work! I really enjoyed this add-on, and I really looking forward to see what to come. We at Masterarms.se are using human ground commander a lot and really missed the way to communicate correctly in the sim. However I really would like to see that you integrate some bandwidth reduction on the voice com. Like you hear when listening on a real flight radio/walky-talkies. I believe that is a really nice feature for a great immersion. Perhaps even with some noise on releasing the PTT key before the auto squelch kicks in. An other great feature I would like to see in the future is to make it possible to change the output of the different radios, to be able to hear them in different ears. I know it is possible to see in the overlay which radio currently set, but I prefer to have the overlay in the background when flying the A10C for example. Maybe you have it planned to integrate these features in an update already? Keep up the good work! /Agaton http://www.masterarms.se
