Also, nice necro.

oO i have KA-50 , A-10 , Mig 21 , Huey , MI-8, CA and FC3 installed and its 20.9GB here
DCS World Open Beta was 19GB. True, but it's compressed. Actual indicated download was 10GB.

Now that is something people can be excited about, not just pretty screenshots.
Good job ED. Fingers crossed.

I use 25 curve on x and y without deadzone. TM Hotas X.

Yeah but how come that the russian section have acces to that video and western section does not ?
Russian devs are more talkative on russian side, seems legit to me.

It would be nice alternative if Intel would stop charging extra for more lanes.

I have to disagree, TGP Is butter smooth with SSD while it stutters with HDD. It's my experience though.

Wags did a great job yesterday.
Things to improve:
1. More bitrate options, it was lagging on ~8Mbps connection
Overall it was pleasing to watch, commentary was top notch, DCS 2 looks promising to say the least.

Seven-G F/A-18C
It seems that project is not dead yet. I'm posting new thread as old is locked.

When Windows 10 wants to restart it is displaying fullscreen popup with dismiss button.

When will the Mig29 get the PFD?
There's no official word on that yet.

From my expirience it's insufficient altitude that makes inverted spin unrecoverable.

Yeah. Which plane is out there killing bad guys right now? It's not the F-35.
I wouldn't send prototype to a fight, too expensive to lose one. Unless it's WW III.
F-22 on the other hand :music_whistling:

I can't believe people actually are stating the a10c is an outdated aircraft. The one in dcs world yes. The one currently in real world splitting Isis skulls is not. Wiki commandos dear lord.
We can also say that F-15C is an old outdated aircraft. Poor Eagle pilots flying with Aim-7M. :megalol:

I'm not quite sure how to understand what ED actually changed in the A-A missiles so it's hard to tell.
I interpret it that way: If missile loses track when pulling g, it will continue to go where it was going instead of relaxing it's flight path (going dumb).

Added today to the changelog (http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2366747&postcount=4):
April 09 update open-beta 1.2.16.38741
- Piston engine detonation physics introduced. Smoke (visual effect) and Increased deterioration are added.
- Crash on embarking troops reaching helicopter is fixed.
- All AA missiles. Added a prolongation target's trajectory when lock is broken. AA missile will not zeroizes assigned overload and go to straight flight, instead missile will fly to calculated intercept point.
Holy cow, that looks serious for "minor" update

I'll let snoopy answer that, but in mean time if you google a10c capabilities brief you will find a open to public brief.
Not the much up to date but gives you a good idea and it's a unclass brief
So many mission oportunities left out
I'd take updated TAD for few bucks.

Great balls of fire ... (groan lol).
No really, I'm totally looking forward to this jet! However I won't go into any vulgar displays of enthusiasm until after I've performed the air-brake test to validate the Toncat's flight fidelity.
Just a FYI, I should be able to slam on the airbrakes on the F-14 and ANY jet that's tailing me will be forced to overshoot me.
There is documented evidence in the public domain of this, so LNS should have no difficulty recreating same.
Cheers,
P.S. Are you modelling Goose .. or do we need to cook our own .. and if we already are one, can we still be the front seat guy?
Airbrake will extend only when throttle is set to FULL AB. Intuitive as hell.

I recommend Partclone, it requires linux though. It's not doing full dd style image, just writed files.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Partclone
As for standalone bootable, Clonezilla.

developer of the f-35 said if it gets hit by lightning it could explode :O dont think its going well for anyone tbh
I've heard it in ~2011. It is no longer true if it was.

I told Steam support folks to remove DCS modules from my account. It gives me more flexibility over keys.
-
Throttle to idle in FC modules is just all way back. Unless it's different with TM Warthog, but it does not concern you.
Anyway, it should start, does your HUD come to life after "RShift + L" ?
If not then you need to reset controls, which comes down to deleting:

It's RAlt + Home for left engine and RCtrl + Home for right engine.
Have a happy negative g stalling.

Wasn't VR supposed to help with such things ?
