Okay so a year later, I've finally managed a fourth touch display with Helios. Very Happy Now! :thumbup: I just wanted to add that, Ever since my original post, I upgraded from a ASUS 6870 1GB to an XFX R9 280X 3GB in order to better support the resolution. Also an important thing i found out!!! The fourth monitor would absolutely not work until I had gotten another active Displayport adapter. So right now I have 2 active adapters in use for this setup. 1 is being used for one of the Eyefinity displays, and the other is used for the touchscreen. I guess for every three displays 1 active adapter would be needed..

Hi, I didn't think to check the key bindings in DCS! I added a key binding in DCS to cycle through all the numbers, and it works just fine! I've only tested VHF AM but the FM should be fine. Thanks for that. There is still a problem with Helios though, any change done in the DCS cockpit does not properly reflect in Helios's cockpit, and still skips a few numbers. So its best not to look at Helios's cockpit when you want to see the real frequency. Not sure if this bug is from Helios itself or the profile I'm using (Cap Loz's).

Guys thanks for all the responses. I've given it a lot of thought, and with talk of new Nvidia cards and CPUs coming out, I decided to, yet again, hold off on any purchase, until I see what DCS Edge is all about. Either way, I'm thinking of holding off till next year, that way all the components I had in mind should be cheaper..

Hi fellas, Is this possible? Right now i'm using a touchscreen with Helios and its impossible to change frequencies on it, because of some bug.

Ah ic, thanks for sharing, what sort of frames are you getting with SLI? I might go SLI sometime in the future with two GTX 780 6gbs. Perhaps the 6gb vram would allow me to match your frames, even with 4 monitors :thumbup:

Would 1866mhz ram make any difference if i kept the cpu at stock speeds? Ah good point. i might just keep it on default speeds then.

Just wondering if anybody has tried this card for DCS? I've got 4 monitors to power up (3 monitors @ 5760 x 1080 + 1 touchscreen @ 1920 x 1080 and was just wondering how a card like this would fare?

Hi I'm looking to upgrade to a new PC from my AMD phenom II x6 1100t to an i7 4790k, for FSX and DCS playing. I chose this CPU because of its already high clock speeds, and im not really willing to play around with the FSB to get the highest possible overclock. Instead, i'll be aiming for a stable 24/7, 4.4ghz by increasing the multiplier and voltage. So with that said, i'm looking for a decent mobo and ram, nothing fancy, that will ensure 4.4ghz at least. Please recommend me some. Also please clarify something for me. Achieving 4.4ghz between a FSB and multiplier overclock. As I understand, the FSB overclock speeds up other components of the PC resulting in a faster overall system, while the multiplier overclock only speeds up the CPU. With regards to DCS and FSX, are the benefits of FSB overclock noticeable over the multiplier? Is it worth going through the trouble? I gave it a crack a while back and ended up settling for the multiplier overclock because it just seemed too complicated.

Here's mine so far.. It's not fully set up yet because I need to upgrade my pc for this game. Also plan to add a Programmable keyboard like Xkeys to this setup

Guys thanks for info, especially about experiences with the 760. My original plan was to purchase a single 760 prior to a full upgrade.. Judging by the framerates that can be achieved in this game I am now considering delaying the full upgrade and purchasing a titan or a gtx 780ti but I have not come across any benchmarks for these cards with dcs world. SLI doesn't seem to be an option because I read that it's not good for windowed performance and I plan on running helios on my fourth monitor.. What settings are you using? Also is there any benchmarks done for this card?

Hi I'm just wondering whether anybody has tried dcs world with this card. Right now I've got a radeon 6870 1gb and the game is very choppy. I want to be able to run dcs world across 3 screens at 5870x1080. Wondering sort of frames I can expect with this card's 4gb of vram

Hi Was wondering, where i could find a joystick and throttle mount similar to this: http://www.simlog.com/ps-controls-brackets.html 450 is a bit too pricey to me..:( I'm currently using a saitek x52 pro, would prefer that the joystick mount is a tabletop clamper.

Hi I'm wondering which SAM sites to use when creating a mission for missile avoidance. I want a SAM site that will fire a missile every couple of seconds. the ones i have tried either don't fire anything or will only fire at me once. Also, is it possible to make carrier landing missions with guided approaches?

Thanks for help guys. In the end, I was able to get a 3-monitor, 5760x1080 eyefinity setup working with a fourth, extended display monitor for Helios. But either my display port adapter or graphics card was starting to act up, sometimes causing eyefinity to revert to extended display with one of the monitors to be stuck on the lowest resolution. So now I've ditched the eyefinity for now, less troubles plus i gain better performance with a single monitor. I still plan on getting the touchscreen overlay kit for that helios monitor.. too broke atm I figured since i'm ditching the eyefinity, I might as well make use of my spare existing monitor. Hi Currently i have 3 21.5 inch monitors set up as eyefinity. I plan on adding a fourth monitor which is a 22 inch in order to export the panels on it through helios. While, its not a touch screen, I plan on adding a USB connected touchscreen overlay (anybody tried this before?) for the monitor. The eyefinity monitors are connected by 2 dvi ports and 1 display ports. If I connect the fourth monitor to the remaining display port will windows see it as a separate monitor, while maintaining the eyefinity for the 3 monitors?

Can it work with DCS world? I don't play LOMAC anymore so I'd rather just load it from DCS World if possible. The tutorials I've downloaded have are multiple .ogg, 1 trk and 1 .lma files

Wow Thanks! Just copied those settings, and everything now lines up fine! Thanks for that, I ended up keeping the resolution, but the MSAA lowering and some other settings allows me to lock the fps at 20, which is ok, at least until i end up getting that new card.. Now going back to graphic cards, I'm looking at the following: ASUS GTX670-DC2-4GD5 4GB GTX670 PCI-E VGA Card - $445 Gigabyte N66TOC-3GD 3GB GTX660Ti PCI-E VGA Card - $335 Keeping in mind, that I plan on using this comp mostly for DCS World games, Am i better off saving the extra cash and getting the 660, and putting the extra cash towards a fourth touchscreen monitor? Will the 670 get me enough frames to justify paying the extra cash and delay my fourth monitor purchase? I hear an overclocked 660 doesn't put it too far behind the 670, though I have no intention of doing so.

Quick question, how do i calculate the bezel compensation?
