Ok but how does that get around the CD/DVD breakage?

IIRC, it installs the needed drivers on the windows partitions, I don't think putting it on anothe HD would make a difference at all. If SF is communist spyware then it must be quite intelligent to get around AV protection. My biggest problems I have with SF is that it breaks CD/DVD drive over time, does the SF update fix this? Also as Russia is trying to get further into the WTO, they have to abide by our product rules, FCC would effectively kill SF, so hopefully when FCC covers Russia in the near future we can get this horrible spyware forcibly removed for good! :thumbup: Proof that this may work is that Russian governmetn had to kill off some cheap mp3 sites due to legality issues in the west, shows things can be done.

1.12a has been cracked, only if a backed up CD is used (not saying how thou), but the whole point is to be able to play the game without any CDs so that defeats the idea, mounts don't work either, damn SF is good, soon some tools that could defeat it are being released. Also I heard somewhere that SF team encourages dev's to release a patch removing SF after a few months after sales start to die down. I really hope a mountable version works soon, I don't like using SF atm, I don't trust it with my drives.

Sorry if this has already been posted a billion times over but... Has ED ever thought of removing it? If so then soon? Ubisoft has so I thought all other developers would? Will BS have it since Ubisoft stopped using it on new products? Regards, otester

Brilliant, found the problem, the LED that didn't work I got to change to Red but Green will not turn on, also resulting in Amber not working. Is there a way of changing the color of POV1 ? And what should I do now? Send it back for replacement?

Doesn't let me view it because my activation emails till hasn't been sent.

Apart from the LED yes it does. When I got it I plugged it in, installed the drivers and software from the CD and then applied the new updates for them from the Saitek site. Do you or anyone else know how to change the LED color?

Just got it today, I think one of the LED's is broken, here is a picture of it: red highlighted = on blue highlighted = off When I reconnected the joystick the light flickered (red) but then remained off. It says on the box the LED colors can be changed, can I do this? Could it solve the problem? I am having a real headache atm trying to get this to work and decide whether its broken or not and whether to send it back for replacement. :helpsmilie:

How can I manually set commands to my joystick? Like typing button names into a textfile with command etc. ? I try doing it with the ingame menu but sometimes buttons are so sensitive that when i click "change" it fils the space automatically with the wrong button. :huh:

Hurray! So I can now get rid of that ubi.com thing?

I try to connect to a game on ubi.com program and it opens the game then brings me to mission editor with network play tab open, I click start and nothing happens. Once when I did get into a game it didn't let me select a plane. Also version of game doesn't show up in ubi.com either :cry:

X52 Pro it is then, pedals are expensive and will just get in the way, default rudders will be fine for now. Can I program the MFD for LOMAC? So it displays what I want for example, speed, weapons info, etc.? I think it has a 3 display options so can I make it cycle through them? This price ok?

Looking to upgrade my joystick from ST290PRO to either X52 Standard or Pro. I have tried my mates X52 Standard (not on LOMAC) and its got amazing handling. I have read the X52 Pro has more MFD features, is it worth the extra £30? Does the MFD work with LOMAC, what will it show? I just don't want to end up splashing out on the wrong thing.
