  1. I enjoyed every second of the live stream. Looking at the chat once in a while I noticed some viewers had problems with the high rez stream. Lag and buffering issues because of slow internet connections. Perhaps an idea to have the option to choose from 360 up to 1080 resolution? Don't know if that is possible with Twitch anyway but just my two cents.
  2. According this website it seems to be fragmentation bombs used in dive-bombing missions against airfields during Operation Overlord (scroll down to 3 quarter of the page). http://www.globalaviationresource.com/v2/2014/04/23/d-day-70-pt-7-operation-overlord-viii-fighter-commands-hun-hunters/ The small ones might be the AN-M88, (220-lbs) or the AN-M81 (260-lbs) and the big one a 260 pound fragmentation bomb. That website got some great images by the way. Take for instance the hit and exploding Fw-190 while hunted by a U.S. plane. http://www.globalaviationresource.com/v2/2014/04/23/d-day-70-pt-7-operation-overlord-viii-fighter-commands-hun-hunters/#gallery/3__1251111199/16438
  3. Well, the first Kickstarter lawsuit takes place for not delivering a promised product: http://www.geekwire.com/2014/attorney-general-asylum-playing-cards-crowdfunded-project/
  4. Let's get back to the OP's questions... We should get a weekly update. Taking in account Ilya nobody espects a weekly update. But about 6 weeks of radio silence is ridicilous. I remember an application for a PR person or something like that. Where is she or him to inform us? A monthly update is even to much asked. Looks like the project is dead. If not. Show us some new WIP screenies or vids. To impress us.
  5. Thanks. I have to say the Dev Updates are well hidden. Isn't it an idea to create a topic like 'Update #1' etc. on this DCS WWII board and make them a sticky or so. Instead of selecting the DCS WWII Kickstarter topic first, clicking the first link in Luthier's post and then second tab Updates?
  6. Partially. The first two screenies of coastline of "Normandy" (if you refer to those) are stills from the Corsica map. Another project and unrelated to DCS/DCS WWII. Take a look at 0m25s and 1m01s. The last two screenshots of Normandy are indeed for DCS WWII.
  7. @Almazi: Several basic questions about the terrain have been asked yet but no clear answer till sofar: We plan to do, not yet known, possibly, too early to discuss, best as possible. So before we ask more questions, basic or more in depth ones, I have one simple question which might help us some more: -What can you tell us about the Normandy terrain for this WWII sim? (And I don't mean the promotional talk like 'the best you have ever seen in flightsim world', 'NextGen' etc. but what has been decided, what will be implemented, when to expect first screenshots of Normandy and so on and so on.) There must at least something substantial to say or show of the map I guess? Perhaps my comment sounds a bit too harsh but that is not my intention. There are many posts in several topics about EDGE, Nevada, the Normandy map and everything related to that but because nothing has been released yet after all those years the whole project stays very vague.
  8. And at the IL2:BOS site it is not allowed to discuss the DCS WWII sim at the moment. Anyway, waiting in anticipation to see the first screenshots and vids of DCS WWII.
  9. Looking forward to see that Kickstarter video this Thursday! :cheer3nc: To get an impression of what to expect.
