  1. New font for a different [new but old] generation.
  2. Looks like you are predicting RRG are going to model a modern replica of a 262 that has modern turbojet engines. What is the basis of this prediction?
  3. based on what?
  4. I started off in Il-2 1.22 as a Sturmovik pilot, but ultimately the 262 became my favorite to fly, because it is as challenging and hazardous as I have read about in the history books. We'll know if RRG get it right when we see a lot of customers complaining in the forums about how difficult it is to keep the turbojets running.
  5. Luthier will all due respect, discussion of stretch goals is premature until your next video is presented.
  6. Re: " detail quality" of the video game helicopter youtube clip posted by lightningstrike. There didn't seem to be any urban areas, railroads, train stations, or military installations. Not sure what sort of "details" in that vid you expect to see in France. The rocks and trees?
  7. I have seen the Face of the Future of Combat Flight Sims: his name is Cliffs. This video ties together the 2 state-of-the-art titles and reminds us of the possibilities, which are well worth a few $$ to make come true.
  8. The optimism stems from the fact that the most beautiful and engaging flight sim I've experienced is luthier's previous product.
  9. Here we go with the "Oleg an Ilya ruined my life" posts.
  10. Forget about what other people are doing. The KS campaign is on track to meet its primary goal -- it doesn't need your "creative input". If you want to contribute to a new state-of-the art software project, make a pledge. If you don't want to, then don't pledge. Nobody here cares about opinions of other titles.
  11. Flight in a B-17G, including a cameo of a very happy DCS:WWII backer :D http://www.mediafire.com/watch/09smd0te0ea7eoq/B-17-909-Moffett-19May07.wmv
  12. So many new choices, and they all result in my pledge going up from the original $40 :music_whistling:
  13. My boxed edition of BoB2:WoV included the "wings of power B-17" for MSFS. I deleted BoB2:WoV from my HDD years ago, but I still have the WoP B-17 installed :) P.S. the only real WWII era aircraft I've ever flown in is a B-17G. If there's only one you can afford to go for a ride in, that's The One.
  14. That alone would be sufficient to convince many to back a DCS WWII series. Has there been any contact with Boeing to find out the licensing requirements and costs?
